@@user-NASIM612He was born in the latter half of the 13th century AD and died in the 14th century AD. His time was a time of great tribulations for the Muslims. Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah Azawajal have mercy upon him) stood tall not only against the disbelieving enemies of the Muslims but also waged a Jihad with his pen against the people of desires within the Muslim ranks like the grave worshipping Sufis, the Sahabah cursing Raafidah Shia, the terroristic khawarij etc. He was a beacon of truth and justice and Allah Azawajal placed love for him in the hearts of the Muslims. People must understand that he may have reasons for not getting married and we trying to find out the reasons by qiyas is not necessary....... We instead should look at his thoughts and rulings regarding marriage ..... And it is clear that he considered marriage to be a great virtue , and he didn't consider leaving marriage so that he can worship more a virtue ....... And that is enough ...... because trying to find out what was the reason if his saying is available ,is not necessary
Of course it’s necessary to compare a scholar who is supposed to know Allah swt’s Deen to what we know of the practice and advise of the Prophet pbuh. Ibn Taymiyyah and His Heretical Beliefs QUESTION: Who is Ibn Taymiyyah, whom Wahhabis [Salafis] call Sheikh-ul-Islam and follow? What did our scholars say about him? ANSWER He was formerly a Hanbali scholar of fiqh and hadith. Then he became a la-Madhhabi. He was jailed in Egypt twice due to his writings that went against Ahl as-Sunnah wa’l Jama’ah. He was born in 1263 in Harran [a town of Urfa province in Turkey]. He died in 1328 while he was imprisoned in the citadel of Damascus. Ibn Taymiyyah could not appreciate the superiority of Ahl as-Sunnah wa’l Jama’ah scholars. He denied Tasawwuf (Sufism) and, therefore, deviated from Ahl as-Sunnah wa’l Jama’ah. His books are sources for opponents of the four madhhabs who call themselves Salafists. Opponents of the four madhhabs praise him and address him as the master of restorers (mujaddids) of Islam. That Ibn Taymiyyah was unfortunate and misguided is written in the books Sayf-ul-Jabbar and Talim-us-Subyan. The latter was written in Persian. In the book Tathir-ul-fuad min-danis-il i’tiqad written by Muhammad Bahit, who was a Hanafi scholar in Jami-ul-Azhar, and in the other books, such as At-Tawassuli bin-Nabi wa bis-Salihin, Shawahid-ul-Haqq, Jawahir-ul-Bihar, Sayf-ul-Jabbar, and Talim-us-Subyan, it is proven with evidence that Ibn Taymiyyah lapsed into heresy. Ibn Battuta, Ibn Hajar al-Makki, Imam-i Subki, Izzaddin bin Jama’a, Abu Hayyan Zahiri, Zahid al-Kawthari, Yusuf an-Nabhani, Imam-i Sharani, Ahmad bin Sayyid Zayni Dahlan, Sheikh-ul-Islam Mustafa Sabri Efendi, and many other scholars wrote refutations to Ibn Taymiyyah and explained his heresy and k*fr beliefs. Necip Fazıl Kısakurek said, “Sayyid Abdulhakim Arwasi stated, ‘Ibn Taymiyyah was a mulhid who damaged the religion from within.’” (Turkiye’nin Manzarası [The Scenery of Turkey]) It is written on the 107th page of the Tafsir of Sawi that he was misguided and misguiding others. Islamic scholars stated: “He was a person whose knowledge was made by Allah سبحانه و تعالى a cause for his misguidance.” [Ibn Hajar al-Makki - Fatawa Hadisiyya] “Ibn Taymiyyah was such a person that great scholars gave answers to his corrupt opinions and flimsy evidence and showed the ugliness of his ideas. [Muhammad] Izz ibni Jama’a [Shafi’i scholar of fiqh and hadith who served as a qadi in Damascus, Egypt, and Jerusalem] said about him, ‘He was a person whom Allah سبحانه و تعالى misguided, led astray, and made wear the shirt of lowness. He foolishly raised objections to Islamic scholars and especially to the Rightly Guided Caliphs.’” [Ibn Hajar al-Makki - Al Jawhar-ul-Munzam] “The ideas of Ibn Taymiyyah are worthless. He was misguided and misguiding Muslims. He deviated from the consensus of Muslims and took a heretical path. Islamic scholars stated in unanimity that he was a heretic. Kutbud-Bardiri wrote this in detail in his commentary on Mukhtasar.” [Tahir Muhammad Sulayman - Zahiratul-fiqhil-Kubra] “Kitab-ul-Arsh is one of his most awful books. There were scholars who said that a person who addressed him as Sheikh-ul-Islam would become a disbeliever.” [Imam Subki] (He says so in the supercommentary on Nabras) “Whoever follows Ibn Taymiyyah, his property and life is halal [lawful].” [Mirat-ul-Janan, supercommentary on Nabras] Ibn Taymiyyah says in his Kitab-ul-Arsh, “Allah sits on the Arsh, and He leaves space for His Messenger to sit next to Him.” In his book As-Sirat-ul-Mustaqim, he declared some notable companions, such as Ibn Abbas, disbelievers. [Kashf-uz-Zunun] In his book Al-Abudiyyat, he says that making dhikr of Allah’s سبحانه و تعالى name is innovation and heresy, and he made vicious slanders on Sufi masters. Ibn Taymiyyah said, “The existence of the Arsh is beginningless [qadim].” [Sharh al-Aqaid al-Adudiyya] While descending from the minbar of the mosque of Damascus, he said, “Allah descends from the sky to the earth just as I am descending now.” [Ibn Battuta - Tuhfat-un-Nuzzar] Even Abd ar-Raziq Pasha, who was a disciple of Abduh and followed in his footsteps, said, “Just as Wahhabism is linked to Ibn Taymiyyah in one respect, so the reformists ideas of Abduh, who is called the restorer [mujaddid] of the current century, are linked to Ibn Taymiyyah.” Ibn Taymiyyah said, “It is not necessary to make up qada salats.” However, making up a qada salat is obligatory in all of the four madhhabs. He claimed that the torment of Hell would notthe eternal. However, there are many Qur’anic verses stating that disbelievers will remain in Hell eternally. (Al-Baqara 81, Al-Ahzab 65, Fussilat 28, Az-Zukhruf 74) By saying, “Umar made a lot of mistakes,” he objected to the hadith-i sharif that says, “Allah سبحانه و تعالى has put the true word on the tongue of Umar [He never makes a mistake].” Even if the majority of the Companions erred in the matters deduced by way of ijtihad, their errors were related to ijtihad. It cannot be known whether a mujtahid erred in his ijtihad because an ijtihad does not invalidate another ijtihad. For this reason, those honorable people, who were mujtahids, should not be criticized. Though the ijtihads of the four madhhabs are different from one other, their founders did not criticize one another on the basis of difference in their ijtihads. He attacked Sufi masters, such as Hadrat Sadraddin al-Konawi and Ibn Arabi and said, “The books of Ghazali are full of fabricated hadiths.” (Hadiqa) Hadrat Imam Sharani stated, “Ibn Taymiyyah denied Tasawwuf [Sufism] and made defamatory remarks on the Awliya’. One must beware of reading his books in the same way as one bewares of predators.” [Tabakat-ul-Kubra] Hadrat Imam Suyuti stated: “Ibn Taymiyyah was arrogant and full of himself. It was his habit to represent himself as superior to everybody, to look down on the person whom he talked to, and to make fun of great scholars.” [Kam-ul Muarid] Muhammad Ali Bey said in his Hitat-ush-Sham, “Ibn Taymiyyah’s and Priest Luther’s aims were identical. Whereas the Christian reformer was successful, the reformer of Islam was unsuccessful.” Hadrat Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani stated, He spoke ill of the great ones of the Companions and said, “It is haram to set out on a journey to visit the grave of the Messenger of Allah. [Hadrat] Ali’s imaan was not valid because he was a child when he believed. [Hadrat] Uthman had excessive love for wealth.” [Ad-Durar-ul-Kamina] Hadrat Ibn Hajar al-Makki said, “Ibn Taymiyyah denied the immunity of prophets from sins. However, it is one of the attributes of prophets.” He objected to one’s visiting the blessed grave of our Master the Prophet and those of the Companions, the Awliya’, scholars, and pious Muslims. He considered it haram to use them as a means for intercession. [Fatawa Hadisiyya]

People must understand that he may have reasons for not getting married and we trying to find out the reasons by qiyas is not necessary.......
The life of any scholar is of necessary interest. It’s especially relevant to see if the scholar practices what he preaches.

Knowledge about Islam and closeness to Allah is above everything else in this temporary world which is a distraction including women and children. A muslim's job is to serve allah 24/7 and spread Allahs message to the world and leave behind a legacy like our prophet muhammad saw. and on the other hand for building a family a Muslim man must develop qualities of Allah like the absolute provider of everything, food, shelter, undivided attention, love, patience, protection, knowledge and naturally children to his wife or wives. Ibn Taymiyyah and His Heretical Beliefs
QUESTION:
Who is Ibn Taymiyyah, whom Wahhabis [Salafis] call Sheikh-ul-Islam and follow?
What did our scholars say about him?
ANSWER
He was formerly a Hanbali scholar of fiqh and hadith.
In the book Tathir-ul-fuad min-danis-il i’tiqad written by Muhammad Bahit, who was a Hanafi scholar in Jami-ul-Azhar, and in the other books, such as At-Tawassuli bin-Nabi wa bis-Salihin,
Shawahid-ul-Haqq, Jawahir-ul-Bihar, Sayf-ul-Jabbar, and Talim-us-Subyan, it is proven with evidence that Ibn Taymiyyah lapsed into heresy.
Ibn Battuta, Ibn Hajar al-Makki, Imam-i Subki, Izzaddin bin Jama’a, Abu Hayyan Zahiri, Zahid al-Kawthari, Yusuf an-Nabhani, Imam-i Sharani, Ahmad bin Sayyid Zayni Dahlan, Sheikh-ul-Islam Mustafa Sabri Efendi, and many other scholars wrote refutations to Ibn Taymiyyah and explained his heresy and k*fr beliefs.
Necip Fazıl Kısakurek said,
“Sayyid Abdulhakim Arwasi stated,
‘Ibn Taymiyyah was a mulhid who damaged the religion from within.’”
(Turkiye’nin Manzarası [The Scenery of Turkey])
It is written on the 107th page of the Tafsir of Sawi that he was misguided and misguiding others.
Islamic scholars stated:
“He was a person whose knowledge was made by Allah سبحانه و تعالى a cause for his misguidance.”
[Ibn Hajar al-Makki - Fatawa Hadisiyya]
“Ibn Taymiyyah was such a person that great scholars gave answers to his corrupt opinions and flimsy evidence and showed the ugliness of his ideas.
[Muhammad] Izz ibni Jama’a [Shafi’i scholar of fiqh and hadith who served as a qadi in Damascus, Egypt, and Jerusalem] said about him,
‘He was a person whom Allah سبحانه و تعالى misguided, led astray, and made wear the shirt of lowness.
He foolishly raised objections to Islamic scholars and especially to the Rightly Guided Caliphs.’”
[Ibn Hajar al-Makki - Al Jawhar-ul-Munzam]
“The ideas of Ibn Taymiyyah are worthless.
He was misguided and misguiding Muslims.
He deviated from the consensus of Muslims and took a heretical path. Islamic scholars stated in unanimity that he was a heretic.
Kutbud-Bardiri wrote this in detail in his commentary on Mukhtasar.”
[Tahir Muhammad Sulayman - Zahiratul-fiqhil-Kubra]
“Kitab-ul-Arsh is one of his most awful books.
There were scholars who said that a person who addressed him as Sheikh-ul-Islam would become a disbeliever.”
[Imam Subki]
(He says so in the supercommentary on Nabras)
“Whoever follows Ibn Taymiyyah, his property and life is halal
[lawful].”
[Mirat-ul-Janan, supercommentary on Nabras]
Ibn Taymiyyah says in his Kitab-ul-Arsh,
“Allah sits on the Arsh, and He leaves space for His Messenger to sit next to Him.”
In his book As-Sirat-ul-Mustaqim, he declared some notable companions, such as Ibn Abbas, disbelievers.
[Kashf-uz-Zunun]
In his book Al-Abudiyyat, he says that making dhikr of Allah’s سبحانه و تعالى name is innovation and heresy, and he made vicious slanders on Sufi masters.
Ibn Taymiyyah said,
“The existence of the Arsh is beginningless [qadim].”
[Sharh al-Aqaid al-Adudiyya]
While descending from the minbar of the mosque of Damascus, he said,
“Allah descends from the sky to the earth just as I am descending now.”
[Ibn Battuta - Tuhfat-un-Nuzzar]
Even Abd ar-Raziq Pasha, who was a disciple of Abduh and followed in his footsteps, said,
“Just as Wahhabism is linked to Ibn Taymiyyah in one respect, so the reformists ideas of Abduh, who is called the restorer [mujaddid] of the current century, are linked to Ibn Taymiyyah.”
Ibn Taymiyyah said,
“It is not necessary to make up qada salats.”
However, making up a qada salat is obligatory in all of the four madhhabs.
He claimed that the torment of Hell would notthe eternal.
However, there are many Qur’anic verses stating that disbelievers will remain in Hell eternally.
(Al-Baqara 81, Al-Ahzab 65, Fussilat 28,
Az-Zukhruf 74)
By saying,
“Umar made a lot of mistakes,”

Even if the majority of the Companions erred in the matters deduced by way of ijtihad, their errors were related to ijtihad.
It cannot be known whether a mujtahid erred in his ijtihad because an ijtihad does not invalidate another ijtihad.
For this reason, those honorable people,
who were mujtahids, should not be criticized.
Though the ijtihads of the four madhhabs are different from one other, their founders did not criticize one another on the basis of difference in their ijtihads.
He attacked Sufi masters, such as Hadrat Sadraddin al-Konawi and Ibn Arabi and said,
“The books of Ghazali are full of fabricated hadiths.”

Hadrat Imam Sharani stated,
“Ibn Taymiyyah denied Tasawwuf [Sufism] and made defamatory remarks on the Awliya’.
One must beware of reading his books in the same way as one bewares of predators.”
[Tabakat-ul-Kubra]
Hadrat Imam Suyuti stated:
“Ibn Taymiyyah was arrogant and full of himself.
It was his habit to represent himself as superior to everybody, to look down on the person whom he talked to, and to make fun of great scholars.”
[Kam-ul Muarid]
Muhammad Ali Bey said in his Hitat-ush-Sham,
“Ibn Taymiyyah’s and Priest Luther’s aims were identical.
Whereas the Christian reformer was successful, the reformer of Islam was unsuccessful.”
Hadrat Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani stated,
He spoke ill of the great ones of the Companions and said,
“It is haram to set out on a journey to visit the grave of the Messenger of Allah.
[Hadrat] Ali’s imaan was not valid because he was a child when he believed.
[Hadrat] Uthman had excessive love for wealth.”
[Ad-Durar-ul-Kamina]
Hadrat Ibn Hajar al-Makki said,
“Ibn Taymiyyah denied the immunity of prophets from sins.
However, it is one of the attributes of prophets.”
He objected to one’s visiting the blessed grave of our Master the Prophet and those of the
Companions, the Awliya’, scholars, and pious Muslims.
He considered it haram to use them as a means for intercession.

Where's your proof that Shaykh al-Islam made takfeer of Ibn Abbas? The statement is clearly false without even having to research, you're aware he wrote a 4 volume work defending the Sahabah from the Rafidah and what they say about them? You think because you're quoting unknowns that that's a proof? Where's the proof that he said the Prophet will sit next to Allaah?
yaa jaahil learn, stop blind following grave worshippers and Jahmi heretics
I challenge you to bring one reference for any of the claims you made, that Ibn Taymiyyah holds the Arsh is eternal
probably doing em clinton style lol
Perhaps he was too busy to get married.. it is a responsibility
But the Sunnah of getting married? Too busy for that
He was in prison most of his life, and he also was busy with jihad, so he just wasn't able to get married
Absolutely, ibn thaymiyya didn't follow the sunnah of Rasullollah.. He is nothing but denying the big sunnah
You do know marriage can be stated as Haram, Sunnah, and Halal based on individual?
Prophet SAW emphasised so much on marriage, and the shiekh here just mentioned the reason for knowledge, or he was busy defending Sharia he didn't marry
Abu Bakr, Umer, Uthman, Ali, and Hassan defended Sharia far better than Ibn tayimiyah they all were married.
Respectfully, this is no reason not to get married. Plain and simple, he didn't marry this is against sunnah, and Ibn Tayimiyah here was at error
No ibn Taymiyya was a big advocate of marriage, he just didn't marry because he didn't have the time, he spent most of his life in prison
@@yous2244 So you are stating Prophet SAW the role model for all of us the leader of Muslims at that time his successors Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and Ali who were all leaders of Muslims i.e. the biggest responsibility of all had more time than Ibn Tayimmiyah?

Secondly your reasoning which is that he couldnt which implies he intended but was unable to is understable as many of our brothers and sisters who are trying to marry but are unable because of rejection or other reasons, but which also means Sheikh in this video gave a false reasoning
I think it also could be cause he was defending uslam snd at that time people that defended islam had to go through pain and torture just how he was send to jail manytimes so he could have been eorried that if he died his wife would not have anywhere to go and it would be s trouble for his wife just a guess

Did ibn taymiyyah have any concubines?
im sure he did
@@user-hc2vk2ic3u so that makes the argument that he was single kind of stupid
He didn't
Because ibn taymiyyah limited Allah to having 2 hands 🙌. And the Muslim women wasn’t feeling it

yeah he never touched a women and inshallah saved himself for his wives of jannah

Everything becomes easy to forget in the path of Allah...But isn't that he رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ left a Sunnah?
Ye ye what ever. The challenge is to live and suffice wife and children’s needs whilst fulfilling the deen.
A single mans life is no challenge vs a married man. The hardest life is on Sunnah.
We appreciate the right deeds but let’s not praise the bachelor guys single hood who left this world with no REAL Challenge.

LIES. ibn Taimiyya had desires and he used Concubines. He was was very clever & intelligent but not wise and made mistakes which took him out of ahlAsSunnah walJama'ah. And Salafis use his mistakes to mislead Muslims today.
So wasn't that against sunnah
No, getting married is not an obligation if one has no desire for women or if he is simply unable to provide for them.
