Mahalo for this ad, which is such an important message for every visitor to hear. I'm concerned that it's too subtle for many people arriving here. I encourage you at the Visitors Bureau to consider a compulsory video shown on every flight that arrives to a Hawaiian airport stressing the concepts of respect for the environment, the culture, our history, and the residents, and has clear instructions for how to behave here with the ocean, the land, wildlife, and residents. The video above is a local style, very low key gentle request, and I can tell you most of the visitors i come across need much stronger and clearer parameters for how to be here, ones that they can't ignore like the ocean safety video at Lihue airport.

As a resident of the mainland, is there any precautions or things to keep in mind if I decide to visit? The culture and the environment of Hawai'i is so beautiful and deserves to be preserved along with the amazing culture, so I just wanted to make sure I am as respectful as possible when visiting.

This is absolutely beautiful and it should be shown in every single Flight coming to Hawai'i and leaving Hawai'i, so when visitors get off the planes, they can practice this! Especially respecting the land, the culture and the people of Hawai'i so they do not act like fools.
