Thanks for another great review! Cheers.
Bought these for my Ride TwinPig beginning of last season and they are the best bindings I've ever used. Ride makes my favorite bindings.
What boots and its size? Trying to get the idea of what Avran said about toe strap not fitting certain boot shapes.
@@c4rwr3ck I've got size 8 Solomon Dialogue boots. I got around 35 days this last season with this boot/binding combo and can only think of one time my front strap slipped up, but I think I just didn't ratchet it down that time. Best bindings I've used.
Bought a L set. I wear a 13 so I always need bigger stuffs looking forward to matching it up w my twin pig as well
@@josesbox9555 How did the bindings work out? I'm a 13 as well
@@nicohalverson4352 They work wonderful. Loving the twin pig. First new board since the late 90s…😬
Ride these last season on k2 alchemist, bataleon Goliath, and bataleon surfer ltd. LOVE THEM.
I got the alchemist now. Had the choice between c8 and unio force. Went with force. Mistake?
I got a pair there great
Just bought these hopping they’re good
@@apass2803 yes I got two sets of disks
Nice review Avran, how do you like the nitro teams combo with jones stratos. 10.5 boot 180 lbs. As always, thanks man. 😎
Appreciate all of your videos! It’s been super helpful. I just picked up a warpig to add to my quiver and was thinking about pairing it with the c-8. My only reservation is the toe strap. Think it’d fit with Burton Photons?
Should, might have to play with the settings a little.
@@AngrySnowboarder okay cool. I was most worried about the shape of the toe strap being compatible but I don’t mind tinkering with the positioning of the strap to get the right fit. Thanks for the insight, I appreciate you taking the time to reply!
Will you be at any of the Mt.Hood cascades camps this summer? Its lookin pretty fawkin sick up there!
I'll be lurking in the hearts and minds of the snowboarders of the Internet where ever they want me.
Great ride all around. However the highbacks will break at the screw hinge attachment location. Just replaced my front foot highback.
AVRAIN DID U GET MY CALLS I CALLED U I AM LOOKING 4 U
Slims calls on the live streams are the best lol
Just bought them because you said they're good! Hopefully your right! Lmao
Hey Avrain!
Do you think this binding would be too ”weak” to put on my Jones Ultra Mountain Twin? Been thinking this binding would fit my preference good since I’ve mostly been riding freestyle with my Salomon Hologram bindings on softer boards. But for this season I’m gonna be hitting big jumps and freeriding a lot. So I need some more powerful bindings to put on my Ultra twin.
No.
Hope this is a good binding for my 2008 k2 zeplin board as my burton custom bindings just broke. I dont know as the board and bindings are my 1st set I haven't ridden on anything else. I like to hit jumps and go as fast as possible straight down blue's and blacks as long as there are no moguls on them.
Anything is an upgrade from those old things.
Been on some c6's for the last two seasons but want something more responsive in the park. C or A series for the 8's? Thought I wanted something more damp in my mid 30's but throw the liveliness at me 💥
A8 it is!
gREAT!! So I have the C8 and Union Force + Lib Ejacknife and Salomon Villain. Which would be the best combo IYO? Thanks
c8 on the Ejack, Force on the Villain.
Me 2. C8 and force on alchemist. What to choose?
2 questions. Do you think a size 13 Sasquatch foot would fit in these? Would these pair good with a Jones frontier?
If you get the right size it should. Yes.
Would you rock these or the c6 with the gnu gremlin
These.
I recently bought the 2023 Superpig, I’m not sure if I should get the C-8 or A-8 to pair with the superpig. What would you recommend?
C8 for more damping, A8 for more power.
Did anyone try the C-8s with the Van's Auro Pros? I'm worried my vans are too big for the tow strap!?
Curious as well
Just bought these before the end of the season and ended up busting my boots on LDOH. What kind of toe shapes should I be looking for to pair with this so I don't have to rely on using the toe-strap vertically?
The best boot is the one that fits your foot and fits your needs.
@@AngrySnowboarder Dope, so go with the boot that fits - worst case scenario, I wear the toestrap over the top of the toebox. Thanks, homie.
@@seanwilson1244is this Sean Wilson from Alameda High?
Can I get a size medium for a size 11 burton kendo boot or should i get the large c-8 binding? Thanks
I honestly don't know.
Do you know anything about the ride c-6s? I got pushed into getting them and hadn't done my research. Can't find any info about them online. I ride an outer space living
Solid binding for what they are.
hey do you think they can be a good combination with an Amplid Singular Twin?
Definitely.
I got these C-8 bindings and I did not get 2 base plates. Are you sure there should have been the aluminum plates in it. I only got the composite plate?
Did you buy this years?
@@AngrySnowboarder Yes, I sent them the same question from the ride website they replied back and said the c-8 does not need the aluminum plate. So I guess just the A series get both.
@@AngrySnowboarder I have only used these C8 bindings for 1 season and the foot padding is falling off. I have had to glue them back on 2 times and now the back padding is falling off as well. I really like them I wish I could use them for many more years but I cannot. I can’t afford to buy a brand that cant make it through 1 season before I have glue (both bindings front and back pad's) them back together.
I heard there were some issues with the toe straps slipping off, curious if anyone every had any issues with that?
I've got a pair of these Ride C8 and Union Force both 2023/2024 models. I'm still not quite sure which ones to keep and use with my new Capita DOA.
The Union Ones are on the edge of my boot size 40.5 EU Size S, so the Ride ones could fit better (M size covers something along 37-43)
Any recommendation?
The one that fits your boot better.
Same prob c8 Vs union force on alchemist. Unions weigh so much less...
@@phoenixhorizon yeah. I've tried Union Force S size and they are too small. The C8 just arrived today and they fit so much better but they are way heavier. I'm considering getting Union Force M and returning these two...
Selling all my Unions immediately for these. #bindingbeef

@@AngrySnowboarder goddamn imagine trying to get that song done in 2021.
bought the ride algorithm and the c8- after 20 years of snowboarding I finally found the perfect board. the c8 feels great so far only thing, it runs pretty narrow left and right of the baseplate. with a vans boot, the straps fit perfect. sold my war pig with union strata after riding that combo.
Stuck between these and the C6 for a Salomon Dancehaul. Are these too stiff for that board?
C6
light or heavy? I ride Union contact pro
They're bindings.
This is a good binding for k2 Instrument?
It's a little stiff I'd bump down to the C6 instead.
@@AngrySnowboarder thanks
Jones Mercury or the Ride C8 on a 158 Xl warpig?
Either.
Yo, would you say these are similar to the union atlas?
Closer to the force the 10s are closer to the Atlas.
@@AngrySnowboarder ok ive got the c-8s on my kazu pro i thought the 10s were too stiff after a choppy copper day.
@@fvictor77 SO C-8's just right?
I have only used these C8 bindings for 1 season and the foot padding is falling off. I have had to glue them back on 2 times and now the back padding is falling off as well. I really like them I wish I could use them for many more years but I cannot. I can’t afford to buy a brand that cant make it through 1 season before I have glue (both bindings front and back pad's) them back together.
Contact warranty and ask them for a new footpad.
would you pair c8 or c6 with 2019 warpig? found both with the same price but would c8 be too stiff in the park for jibbing? do they have same lateral movement in the high back?
If you think it's going to be too stiff then go with the 6 series.
Beginning of the end. Sad to see this to end.
The end of what?
@@AngrySnowboarder strap bindings. My prediction is that step in will take over.
@@whoisthe1412 bahahahahahahahaha go ride your skis
@@AngrySnowboarder I’m for real. DC shoes already onboard and others already gearing to do the same.
@@whoisthe1412 You haven’t snowboarded that long.
