For future reference, this should be included na in the Construction drawing package under detail drawings prior to construction. All concrete ledges must have this detail called out. I think this metal drip mould is more effective if the angle bar is placed downward the concrete and may sealant nalang. Pero all in all this is a very helpful video.

I'm a bit skeptical on this solution btw. The stain is caused from where a lot of water flows from a specific area of the concrete roofing. Not only that, the Drip Edge design is different from a Angle bar. If you can compare its design, you can see that there's another slope at the bottom of the Drip Edge, which is to ensure that since water tends to sway when it flows especially when there's a wind blowing, then that bottom would help to flow away the water from touching the concrete wall. My free advice is to find a solution first to create a water way on the top so that all water from your concrete roof deck will flow there. The design would kinda look like a 1-inch X 2-inch concrete bumper on the edge of the concrete to ensure that the water won't overflow, and then another design with it is that would be a small shallow concrete gutter near that bumper so that there will be a flow for the water. My next advice is to use Z-bar instead of the Angle Bar.

Hello Sir Slater! Im Ar. Geoffrey Angeles,
just wanna suggest to you something. You might encounter this problem in the future, I have noticed that you have concrete gutter, you might consider applying water proofing membrane into your gutter to prevent it from leaks. Because concrete as you know can sometime have hairline cracks due to weather which can cause leaks in the future. You can use a rubbercoating waterproofing membrane. Been using this in our house. It is very effective. I hope this works for you in your future developments and protections to your house.
Thank you and God bless! More power to your very informative and educational youtube channel!

Unpopular opinion, the stain on the wall cause by the rain adds more character/drama to your house. Beauty of imperfections, nevertheless thats an awesome diy sir Slater.

coudnelt agree more. d added patina or imperfection overtimes makes a house a home. it has dat coziness and nostalgia feel. kaya gusto ko un medyo my water marked ang exterior ko thhrough time. soudns weird pero just my cup of tea

You can make a drip edge out of Pre-Painted Galvanized Iron Mouldings. Just specify the bends.

Things like that eventually happen. My house in Alabang has lots of suspended slabs, and despite waterproofing and drainage, they start to crack and show water damage over the years.

The builders bond is the same product we have here in Canada, we call it PL glue, I repair cement stairs with it, it is very good, but you put too much on the brick that's why it wasn't dry and you have to spread it on all the brick and put some on the surface where you want to glue the brick or other items and spread it too.
