Yep, Kakania is simply a must pull unit that can decrease any content difficulty by A LOT. Also Kakania is a tank so you would want to run her a good healer as well.

I once SSS raid with Door and Necrologist combination, and Limbo can still be cleared with low rarity as well. However if we're talking about a character here, Kakania sure is one of those characters that can be considered as a must pull, barely got powercreeped and would stay in the meta section for a very long time because of her flexibility that can make her fit in any team. She can solo carry too and a she's a great sustain unit, she can also be a powerful healer with high potrait P2+, she have almost no downside making her a very perfect unit.
My plan is to first, pull for kakania and next is for Tuesdays, im having a lot of fun with the poison artifact in the dusk for a while now so i really want to create a poison team.
i used up all my pulls to get lucy to P5 and it gets the job done in every scenario. not knowing kakania would be a great help on longer fights. do i regret not pulling her now? No since i got a p5 lucy but shes on the top list of getting first.

The character gameplay loop mostly stayed the same. You can look at those guides on how to do a rotation for their optimal gameplay and it'll still do well even to this day.
Also, welcome to reverse!! You can follow this creator, and also join the reverse subreddit, there’s plenty of fellow players there ready to answer any queries you may have! As for which characters are the strongest rn, Lucy and kakania are very, very good. You joined at a good time since Lucy is available for this patch only, and kakania will be released in phase 2 of this patch. Lucy is a great aoe dps and kakania is a tank who deals damage and buffs as well (think fuxuan). Other than them there’s vila who’s a healer and windsong, a really strong dps, but they won’t become available again till 2.1. Hopefully isolde will get a rerun in the next patch (fingers crossed) and she’s a great debuffer

Argus is the only one that i really liked so far in character design, so i will pull for her. Anjo Nala is a must so i try to get her to. I was trying to think between Mercuria and Kakania, but looks like i will go for Kakania because Mercuria is a niche pool.

If the banner has 1 character, then it shares pity (except the banner of the anniversary where u can choose a 6* and pull for them) The limited banners don't share pity The banners with 2 characters on it don't share pity
Yes if you stopped when Jessica was released and pulled for tooth fairy, Melania or pickles before that, the pity will carry over for the release banners of kakania, j, mercuria, Tuesday and argus. Meanwhile, true limited banners like Lucy and Anjo nala will start from scratch each time. Other than that there’s 2-3 different kinds of rerun banners. Pity for the normal single unit rerun banners is the same as the tooth fairy Jessica one mentioned above, but double/multiple unit rerun banners have separate pity that doesn’t carry over

I was thinking about building a team with Anjo Nala specifically at 37. It's better to get Kakania for the ATK buff and survivability or Argus for more FuA and debuff? I already have 37 (p5), Vila (p0) and i'll have Angel Nala p4 (or 5). Kakania or Argus would be p0 I'm so confused tbh
Gameplay wise, Kakania feels better since she's really good at keeping yourself alive. but since you have 37, you might consider Argus, Argus's debuff increase enemy's critical damage taken by 45% at P0

They work together quite nicely! The only time you won't use Jessica is if you want the Sotheby-Tuesday double DPS set up or in a Poison-Burn with Isolde / J / Kakania.
Marcus will definitely get a rerun as soon as she's standard, so many characters synergize with her. Not sure about others. Also unfortunately, anticipate a double banner for Vila.
I played reverse 1999 when it came out sadly I stopped playing after I got 37 she was my last unit. So because of fomo I didn’t return until 2 days ago still have same account but just pulled P3 Lucy with my save up gems she seemed like a good carry unit but now I fear I may have made a mistake in p3 her and not summoning for other units
Portraits? Bad idea, more good characters is better than P5 of 1 character, but if you absolutely love her and will always use her, so whatever you want
All depending on how much you saved up, expect 80-100 pulls per patch, average maybe 270 pulls in 3 patchs, plan ahead for future unit, and use w/e you can spare

They work together quite nicely! The only time you won't use Jessica is if you want the Sotheby-Tuesday double DPS set up or in a Poison-Burn with Isolde / J / Kakania.

Marcus will definitely get a rerun as soon as she's standard, so many characters synergize with her. Not sure about others. Also unfortunately, anticipate a double banner for Vila.

I played reverse 1999 when it came out sadly I stopped playing after I got 37 she was my last unit. So because of fomo I didn’t return until 2 days ago still have same account but just pulled P3 Lucy with my save up gems she seemed like a good carry unit but now I fear I may have made a mistake in p3 her and not summoning for other units

Portraits? Bad idea, more good characters is better than P5 of 1 character, but if you absolutely love her and will always use her, so whatever you want
All depending on how much you saved up, expect 80-100 pulls per patch, average maybe 270 pulls in 3 patchs, plan ahead for future unit, and use w/e you can spare

🧿well I wanted to show the debuffing.
I’m faced with the decision of pushing for Lucy since I lost 50/50 or skipping her and going for Kakania.
So I’m in a very painful position since I’m F2P and I’m generally not a huge fan of challenge content
It’s a pity that Kakania’s design is so meh, otherwise I would definitely pull her. Really feel like pulling Argus though !
