She thought he believed in her and all he saw was her pretty exterior like her ex. Elle has morals, true she comes off as naive and innocent but she knows right from wrong.

This happened to me yesterday in California, I just froze and didn't know what to do or say. I have a business and it was a Turkish guy with his own business helping me with my business. I asked my male friends if this is normal and if I was over reacting, and I went home and cried because I didn't speak up or say anything or stand up for myself.

So, you either confront the perpetrator, or run away from them, or become numb, or pretend like nothing happened and continue to act in a way that doesn't make the perp harm you. What your body most probably did was "freeze" and then "fein", and as someone who had the same reaction when a year ago a sales guy who initially tried to sell me a product began hitting on me on a busy road of a megacity, I completely understand you. That guy was not normal, what he did to you wasn't normal and you weren't overreacting. I'm happy that you escaped the situation but I'm really sorry for the trauma it possibly caused you. I too was very harsh on myself for not doing anything at the time the guy showed his creepy side to me but later I realised that it may have turned sour had I reacted - who knows how these creeps take rejection? Also, since this was my first and unexpected experience, my body did what it felt was good at that time. When I faced a similar situation a few months later I was able to see it coming and prepare how to escape it easily. When you gain enough courage, find more details about the guy and report him. That's what I did after I was able to get over the incident. I don't know or want to know what happened to him after that but at least I felt better. Sending you a lot of strength ❤

I played Professor Callahan in a Jr version, and even then, I was so disappointed at how Callahan turned out.
