When i was in my middle school when during the time most of the girls started getting their periods, obviously they had to go to toilet at random times so they would use the word "emergency" with the teacher like "sir/mam i need to go to washroom, it's an emergency" so the boys noticed this and they that time didn't know about girl's periods, so they decided during the exam when they need to ask answers they would just gather at the washroom by using "emergency" as an excuse, all girls told them not to do it and that the teacher won't permit but they didn't listen and thought we were just gatekeeping. Then on the day of the exam the boys were not permitted to go until the other guy didn't come back but there was this one girl who went during her "emergency" while the previous girl didn't come back, then the boys got furious and started saying they had double standards and what not. Then the next exam day one guy saw that a girl was opening her bag before going to the washroom (obviously to take her pads) and he knew the teacher could see it , when the exam finished the boys were very mad that the teaches treated them this way. For a few days no girl had to go to washroom for their periods but then on the last day of our exam Some girl had her periods start unexpectedly and this girl had very heavy flow , i was the one sitting behind her and saw a dark spot on her navy blue skirt and told her , she panicked cause she didn't even knew her period started. So she asked the teacher and went but then almost all the boys stood up from their seat and went after her , they literally started to drag her , she lost balance and fell but they still didn't stop dragging her and the other boys were about to rip her bag because she was trying to get her pads but they thought she was cheating and obviously the teacher was shouting and calling other staff to control the children but then .... Silence, all i could hear was the girl who was being dragged crying and all the boys were silent, then i tried to peek at what had happened, turns out when she fell down and got dragged her period blood was smeared all over the ground, it almost looked like a crime scene , and all the boys were shocked, panicking as if they just committed a crime , they thought among the commotion someone had hit her which caused her to bleed , they were *HORRIFIED* , moreover they have never seen so much blood in their entire lifetime they really thought she was going to die due to how much blood was on the ground. Thankfully, she never felt embarrassment due to that incident cause after that day no guy in our class could look her in her eyes , everyone was apologizing for what they did , they seriously thought it was their fault and that she must be in so much pain. This incident was the reason why our school started an extra class on Friday where all middle school boys and girl were taught about the changes which occur in both genders, that cleared a lot of things but most of the boys still thought that period hurt very much cause for them anything that bleeds must hurt and also the fact that the teachers also said that girls get cramps during their period so the boys thought it was very severe pain for it to bleed so much lol
Why those teacher cant teach them before hand, before creating a mess. Even if she was going to cheat, boys cant do these things to a girl, they cant drag her like that.
but how the fuck the teachers didn't stop them from draging her away Are the teachers fools or what And you girls don't even try to stop or try to scream
Nowadays boys are aware of periods, as I hear my daughter telling her male colleagues, she has periods and she is in pain, and she says, they sort of understand. Times are changing.
Yes. We also tell our friends that we are having stomach cramps and they understand. But mostly they have either learnt from their gf or friends, not from their mother. I believe in next generation they will know from childhood, so they will not make fun of girls in childhood.
I think every boy is taught this at the correct age ,but it is not necessary to talk openly about it ,I think the new generation is learning it but the old generation is dicomfortable of it.We should not try to bring a radical change in the society,it will happen but will take time.
@@RadheRadhe._._._._.981 No. Who do think teach them? School?? They doesn't even teach the girls properly. Nobody talks about associated problems with periods or how to maintain hygiene. The boy knows mostly from gf/wife directly or from internet.
@@RadheRadhe._._._._.981 good job. your answer is the most perfect answer. Our previous generations were uncomfortable with it because of the social norms of that time. So let them cope with the new norms now. Nobody should force anyone. Guys not knowing about periods doesn't do any harm. I have never seen any guy making fun of it. As we guys get older we get to know about all these via different sources. I learnt about it from Internet.
My first period was when I was 10, I remember when they started getting more painful and I was in primary school. My year group had learnt about periods and one time at school, it was break time and I think I looked really sad and tired or something, but my (male) best friend asked what was wrong and I told him I had period pains. He was really chill about it and asked if I wanted to lay down or something and we made a few jokes to lighten the mood! Hes one of the bestest friends I’ve ever had, so grateful for him and happy we met💕
Yeah same and there's I a dustbin right outside my house so when I went to the dustbin to throw the pad there was a guy sitting on the stairs in front of the dustbin so when I saw him I turned back and threw it in my bathroom. I don't know why I did this I should have thrown in front of him because these small steps will normalize periods
Yeah, I saw boys in class 6-7 laughed at girls if they saw any pads or leaks. In college, university our friends treat period normally and girls feel comfortable enough to say they have periods and are not feeling well in front of boys or girls. Most boys learn later and feel empathetic after learning seeing their partners or friends suffer. If they were taught earlier by parents, they would not find a natural thing funny and make people uncomfortable.
I'd also recommend researching about PMS and PMDD. Not every girl has those symptoms or their symptoms might be light and barely noticeable, but it's good to know and helps you to be more empathetic towards those wuo struggle with PMS/PMDD. There is a male equivalent of PMS called IMS. I recommend checking out that too.
I grew up in a family of more girls than boys and was taught having periods is very taboo and shameful and girls should be extra wary n keep away from people at such times so that they dont come to know that we are having periods. I was 13 when my family decided to go and visit the family temple n I was made to sit in the verandah of the temple as girls are not allowed inside the temple during such "unholy" days. People stared at me all throughout the day n I felt like an alien on display. But couldn't help myself as my mom n granny both believed in the unholy nonsense. Now I am a mother of a 14yr old boy n when he was around 10, I told him all about periods. He feels so sorry that girls have so much trouble n inconvinience n takes extra care of me during such days. Recently girls in his class told me that he always helps them when they stain their uniforms n need someone to rush to the school nurse to fetch a pad. He even suggested a few better brands to the school nurse 😊 all girls tell me that if other boys also become like my son then truly ladies will not have any troubles during such days. I strongly advise all moms to talk to their sons on this matter. It's a biological process, nothing to be embarrassed about. We dont feel ashamed to catch a cold right ? If men give a helping hand, then ladies will surely appreciate it.
@@prachialdangadi9663so u will teach ur daughter if u have one about son even males have some sort sort of problems I have seen many hurting their private parts so thats why??
My 7yr son understands both periods(a natural phenomenon in girls) and even breastfeeding. They are not myth for him. When I have my periods he understands that I’m unwell and gives me some rest.
im iraqi but i can relate, my mother always says that we should keep it a secret from them even though my dad is a doctor and knows what a period is she still says that i shouldn't let him know im on my period, i told her "why?" and she looked like she was about to scold me so i just pretend like i agree with her and left i still don't understand what's so shameful about telling YOUR FAMILY that you have a period...like i can say im going to the restroom but i can't say im on my period?? im a muslim and women in islam can't pray when they're on their period...so when i don't pray my siblings think im just being lazy and it's destroying my image as an older sis... so whenever i tell them to go pray, they sometimes say "later" and i can't insist because "I dOn'T pRaY" same goes to when i don't fast in ramadan, i can't eat freely since I'm supposed to be hiding the fact that im on my period...and i have to only eat some bites before iftar even if i was starving AND IT'S NOT HARAM TO TELL MEN ABOUT PERIODS, SO THERE'S NO REASON TO HIDE IT FROM THEM.
Actually I'm a Indian Hindu, my family is also like when I wake up or I change my pads "how is the flow" Like they say it very slowly Like why? They are normal! I understand you sis
My son knows a little bit about periods...he is 10yrs old.... He brings me food to bed if I'm in pain... He ask his younger brother not to shout or yell cause mom is sleeping.... I'm blessed
ya thanks to aunty for teaching my crush about periods one day I was soo early to school and my crush also came at same time so I was getting more pain in stomach so I was going to wash room with my pad to check and I got my periods he was following me till washroom and my skirt was cream coloured so the stain was visible and he saw that when I was going to washroom he saw the Stain on my dress and said to my bestie to exchange our blazer because my blazer was short and after the school he was praying for me that I should not get stomach pain he is such a sweetheart ❤️ thank you God for introducing a such a sweetheart in my life
When I was in school some people came to teach us about period and at that time they also gave us a packet of pad and a polythin so we were required to keep it in the bag ...so I was a cool kid I kept it in my hand I was hedding to the classroom..AND I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE my teacher slap me for this and said keep it in the bag all the boys can feel disgusting... And still cant believe a teacher did this PLS TO EVERYONE PERIOD IS A VERY NORMAL THING DON'T MAKE IT A TABOO.....EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE OF EVERYTHING ....
You know, what you should have replied to the teacher to shut his/her mouth is: SIR, yk,if this process did not exist then you and your ShITTY people who would have felt disgusted would not have EXISTED on the planet so it is more like a blessing in disguise ❤😂
wtf...What do they mean by boys can feel disgusting I'm so mad after reading this How dare that teacher slapped u for having pad in ur hand.. This is insane I would've complained to the principal and make it a big issue
When my mom married my dad, she was surprised to learn how little he knew about periods. So she always made sure my brothers understood periods. And when I started getting periods, my brothers were able to help me because my mom taught them.
.Im a 12 year old .My mother is till shy to tell this as she thought that this is something that she should not tell their son . But because of the curiosity I found out what is periods from internet and now I know everything about periods. Just know that ,don't be insecure/ashamed it's just blood.🤷
Oh no she is shy to be say because she born in 90's category so at that time they will never share something about periods... periods is a sign of teenage girl become big...and I am 14 and i have a brother in your age but he dont know what is it 😅.
@@aravinds8639 yess but he is not having any of 12th age maturity so if i say about it he will be asking me 1000 of questions about my period like a kid
I talk about my periods to my brother, he is 11 now and whenever I'm on my periods and he knows he pays extra attention to me and gives me his chocolates as he knows dark chocolates reduces the pain. He also thinks that we can't bend when we are on our periods and whenever I'm doing something like this, he goes like "didi hum karte hai tum rehne do", if you're not feeling so good about talking so much then don't tell them everything but the basics they should know. Educate the boys.
I ask my son to take the pad from desk and he understands it’s a natural phenomenon.. He knows I hv cramps. He helps me with all the work in my first day… alhamdulilah Iam truly blessed. One day he asked me mom u said God created this process for giving birth. Now Iam born la now ask God to stop this pain from u 😂😂 His innocence ❤️
I thank my to be mother in law for teaching both her sons about periods. My boyfriend adores me when I'm on my period and his brother makes sure to help me or mom in law when we feel weak
I explained to my 8 year old boy.. when he asked me.. I said it’s like a diaper to mommy, I need them every month for sanity purpose.. I will explain you once you become teen about human body and difference between gender.. then he smiled at me and said he is grownup he know the difference between girls n boys.. so we had a discussion on this.. he just hugged me and said I love you
@@alzuvairiyafareed9207 you don't have to tell him in so detail...just answer your son questions calmly... Q. Mama why are you taking a diaper like thing in washroom ? •No son its not a diaper it's 'pad' and every girl after the age of 13 have to use these...they start to bleed every month for atleast 6 days ! So we use these pads like bandage so our clothes won't get dirty :) and we call this thing periods ! Q. But Why you bleed mom..? • Son it's a natural process ! Every girl after the age of 13 bleeds or some starts to bleed early...so never get scared of it and help other girls in need ! It's not a digusting thing ! :)) Q. Does it hurt ....:( ? • It's hurts a little so girls need to rest in these days... These can be the basic questions your son Can ask you about periods...you don't have to be ashamed during explaining him about this...and you can explain him in detail when he is that much matured to understand these things :) Hope this helped you !!! Thank you for reading it ! And sorry for my grammar mistakes ..
This topic should be discussed with both sons and daughters. This is physiology and this is a natural phenomenon. Men are obliged to know this and understand that a woman in such a period needs care and understanding. If a man has a bad attitude towards a woman's menstruation, he does not accept her entirely and her femininity. One should not be afraid of such questions of the son, but teach him this knowledge.
My mom is typical about periods I'm 11 she didn't tell me about periods I'm gonna ask her about periods plz pray for me that she'll tell me about periods btw I'm a girl
Yes I have done this. My son knows that when in my periods I will be in pain, he will be really a good boy on those days.. All elders did questioned me for my behavior, but for me this is right. Don't wait for next generation to bring up change.. Be the change now...
Aw it's sweet for mothers to teach their children about how things work in each gender since most of the parents don't and are scared to teach them. All of the children will grow up to know these things so it is best for their parents to teach them before others do. ❤️
In my school, when we were gon learn abt this, our teacher asked only girls to go to the dance room where that's where they would show us everything. The teachers told us not to tell anything to the boys. Ik told my mom and my sis and they bot were like it's wrong they should have made the boys come I too.
I just love all your videos.. the kind of public awareness you are raising on so many taboo topics.. its awesome. We should try to educate moms from all classes how to raise kids.. kids often get wrong treatment like being yelled at for small mistakes from their own parents. I really feel that should change as well
Atleast you understood that boys need to k ow this information when i talked to my mother about telling my brother about periods she gave me an angry look and said that this must be kept a secret.I am still angry that he doesent know this
I learnt what dis is earlier but not from any of my family members.. Still used pretend that i don't know it just because I know how the pain is.. Although it's painful when we go ask for what happened they show no anger , control themselves and with a SMILING FACE THEY SAY NOTHING HAPPENED.... MOTHERS ARE ALWAYS GREAT.
Very important thing to teach sons. We were 2 boys at home and my mother insured we are aware of what it is. I was surprised to see many of my friends shy to speak about periods when I was in college. Today also the reason why I am understanding my wife’s mood swings is because of the awareness I got in my childhood.
True. The other day I told my 5 year old female cousin about menstruation & next day her mom complained that I was teaching her bad things. How is that EVEN BAD??
My friends were messing around with me and all of them were mostly boys, i was on my period and had some pads in a small pocket in my backpack, One of my better friends messed around with me and started opening all the pockets looking for gum when he opened a smaller pocket and saw my pads and ofc Gum. Most of my friends were there and i got embarrassed- he picked up the gum like he didnt see anything else and then the rest of the boys started fighting with him asking for gum too 😂 I felt embarrassed.. Same boy came to me later and said, " dont be embarrassed, i have a sister! I know all about that stuff" later on he became my bestfriend till this day ❤ (hes been my bestfriend since middle school now)
Boys know it when they are in Class 8 or 9 as it is a mandatory chapter to be learnt. But well knowledged and skilled mom will make her son to learn at early age itself. Be a beautiful skilled mom!
Haha 😂 nice joke. Well our teacher just skip the periods portion. When i asked doubt she said to shut up. (I'm un 9th currently. Was in syllabus last yr. Now I did my own research and know it.

This reminded me of a time in elementary, we were sitting in music class and I had a pad in my pocket but, the problem was my pockets were very shallow and small with my uniform navy blue skirt. While we were learning in music my pad must've fallen out of my pocket on to the ground next to me. The boy sitting behind me tapped my shoulder and pointed to the ground, I was confused at first so ignored him til he whispered in my ear that my pad had fallen out of my pocket. I was so relieved and thankful that I didn't get embarrassed because guys had asked me what I was getting out of my backpack half of the time and I just had told them "nothing" because we were like 9-10 years old at the time. That boy had been my friend for a while but, we were really close after that we became best friends and he explained to me that his sister had her period and she taught him about it and thats how he knew what to do. We were high school sweetheart and still together after all those years☺️ He knows what to do when I get my period and treats me right!❤
Neither me nor my mom has taught my brother about periods , he is four years younger than me but when mom send him to buy pads, he do it every time. He is 17 now and he does this for around three to four years till now.may he blessed forever with good health and happiness.
Well I remember going to work one day with my sister. She was in a meeting so I couldn't see her but when she came out her male colleague was using his jacket to cover her skirt up. I was like 8 so I didn't know about periods and all but I heard her tell her friend (the colleague) that she needed pads but was in too much pain to move. While her friend went out to get some she told me about the situation and me being my embarrassing self told her friend when he came back that he was a good person and that he has "my permission" to date my sister. Lmao but he was seriously a lovely person and my sister and him still talk to eachother
Yes! I agree with this wholeheartedly ❤. I have 3 boys and I teach them right along with the girls. And answer their questions honestly when they ask 🙏🏿!
Exactly I literally appreciate what u did!...u know my mumma will always be like " hide your pad form your daddy, don't show it to anyone "and stuff...but I totally don't agree to what my mumma says...I believe that male shoule know about menstrual cycle👍🏻👍🏻...well done lady!!!👍🏻

Being born in 80's when l got my first periods in my school. l got scared and l thought l had cancer and lm going to die in the school washroom. Thanks to my teacher for explaining its normal and lm healthy. Years Later when lm in college l was checking my brother's self for an extra notes and found a pad with fair and lovely face powder all-over it. When l asked bro about the pad he said he thought it's a beauty product and he thought girls use it to apply cream on face to become smooth and beautiful also he was applying fair and lovely with pad since many months stealing pads from our cupboard. However, l couldn't explain anything to him at that time and left. However whenever l buy a stay free package 1-2 pads still keep missing again and l used to be calm because l know l can never explain this to my bro, later with time he understood by himself and my pads stopped missing. Thanks to time.

Thank god! I hate when people treat boys as if they’re sacred beings who cannot know about periods! They’re normal! They wouldn’t understand the pain, but explain it to them it’s not taboo!
I'm so glad that my mom told me what periods were when I was 8, as I believe that's the earliest girls can get them (correct me if Im wrong). She educated me on the topic and got me a little book to help me out with tracking my cycle every month and other info such as my breasts growing, wearing bras, etc. When I actually got my period at 10, I found it exciting and sort of nerve-racking at the same as I was growing up and starting to become more mature. Fast foward to middle school, some of my friends were talking about how one of my friends got her period and how she felt about it. I had so many of my friends come up to me saying they didn't know what a period was until I started talking about it so openly. I told them everything I was taught, so some of them weren't so scared when they actually got theirs.
As a girl watching this made me think, yes they should teach their son and actually my guy friends and my brother have been taught and im happy that now a days the boys knows about it. They actually take care of me❤

Yeah I explained my brother very well about periods and mood swings. And now, whenever I get mad, his favorite line is, "What are you again on your periods? Stop showering your mood swings on me!" 😑😑😑😑😑
All reactions of ur son is like me I was like that when I was 8 years old but now I'm 15 and I have the period my mum teaches me about the period What I mean to say that we have to teach girls who doesn't know cuz when they get the period they will get scared so all the mothers in there teach ur daughters the period 😊
@Adityakumar-px8xd bro- it’s fucking normal like I didn’t even ask if you were taken but okay- and if you will ever have girlfriend and if you said that it’s weird your just making her insecure-
I dont understand why people gatekeep periods from guys 😭 my parents never taught me about periods as a guy and one day i told my friend(while panicking, not knowing that it was just the period and not a scar or anything) that her pants were covered in blood, she told me abt it and since then ive always had around 4 pads in my bag since most of my friends were afab and would never keep track of their periods 😭 its honestly really helpful to tell guys idk why people dont
Knowing these things from outside world and partially, makes them crazy and curious about it..and knowing it, they think it's nothing to do with them(boys). But when it comes through their moms, they'll not find it as a gender thing but see as a "resting time" for women. I mean they will be ready to deal with it and help their co feminine along their life journey.
My mom passed away and my brother are raising me when I have my period the go to shop and buy for me and even buy something and medicine they understand everything about me know thanks 😊 I have them in life ❤❤❤
My 4yo son asked what products are in our bathroom. So now he know about periods and can roughly explain whats happening. Even asked cutely if bleeding hurts 🥲 He also wanted to unpack products and put them in water to see how it works - so we did. 🤭☺️
My son was 2 when he started calling them mommy diapers. 😂😂😂 You are the one who can make a strong man out of your son who supports women. ❤❤❤👍🏻 Love you Anu.

I have never seen any guy making fun of it.
As we guys get older we get to know about all these via different sources.

Teaching boys early also instills empathy and maturity in them so they won't make fun of girls going through pain and have leaks in school.

If men give a helping hand, then ladies will surely appreciate it.

im iraqi but i can relate, my mother always says that we should keep it a secret from them even though my dad is a doctor and knows what a period is
she still says that i shouldn't let him know im on my period,
i told her "why?" and she looked like she was about to scold me so i just pretend like i agree with her and left
i still don't understand what's so shameful about telling YOUR FAMILY that you have a period...like i can say im going to the restroom but i can't say im on my period??
im a muslim and women in islam can't pray when they're on their period...so when i don't pray my siblings think im just being lazy and it's destroying my image as an older sis... so whenever i tell them to go pray, they sometimes say "later" and i can't insist because "I dOn'T pRaY"
same goes to when i don't fast in ramadan, i can't eat freely since I'm supposed to be hiding the fact that im on my period...and i have to only eat some bites before iftar even if i was starving
AND IT'S NOT HARAM TO TELL MEN ABOUT PERIODS, SO THERE'S NO REASON TO HIDE IT FROM THEM.

Q. Does it hurt ....:( ?
• It's hurts a little so girls need to rest in these days...
These can be the basic questions your son Can ask you about periods...you don't have to be ashamed during explaining him about this...and you can explain him in detail when he is that much matured to understand these things :)
Hope this helped you !!!

They actually take care of me❤
When one time we had a family gathering and all my family members where there and we were watching yt in tv when suddenly a ad came showing stayfree ads lol that time my lil bro pointed at me and said 'are these your dipers sis' and I was like 😳😳🤦🏻♀️. Tf I was soo embarrassed and I shrugged it. He still never stops saying it dang. Whenever a ad came I sneak from that place 😂
Hahaha 😂😂

COME ON GIRL NOTHING TO EMBARRASED IN HERE
Yeah I explained my brother very well about periods and mood swings. And now, whenever I get mad, his favorite line is, "What are you again on your periods? Stop showering your mood swings on me!" 😑😑😑😑😑
All reactions of ur son is like me I was like that when I was 8 years old but now I'm 15 and I have the period my mum teaches me about the period
What I mean to say that we have to teach girls who doesn't know cuz when they get the period they will get scared so all the mothers in there teach ur daughters the period 😊
True , so that they don’t make fun of girls who are on their period .
Thank you for this video,we should always educate our children, it's really important,🙏🙏🙏
bro now middle schooler boys think its weird to have periods💀
As a girl I can say, Not most of them.
@Adityakumar-px8xd it ain’t weird it’s normal for girls tf?
@Adityakumar-px8xd what??yes I’m a girl
@Adityakumar-px8xd bro- it’s fucking normal like I didn’t even ask if you were taken but okay- and if you will ever have girlfriend and if you said that it’s weird your just making her insecure-
@Adityakumar-px8xd ok your choice but it was an example
My brother knows it and took care of me so sweet right
My mom passed away and my brother are raising me when I have my period the go to shop and buy for me and even buy something and medicine they understand everything about me know thanks 😊 I have them in life ❤❤❤
Your videos are so informative..thanks♥️
My 4yo son asked what products are in our bathroom. So now he know about periods and can roughly explain whats happening. Even asked cutely if bleeding hurts 🥲
He also wanted to unpack products and put them in water to see how it works - so we did. 🤭☺️
He will become a little scientist
@@DiyaKuberan definitely loves experimenting. Does it a lot. 🤷🏻♀️❤️
