My tree guy brought one similar last time. It has a tree grapple on it. He drove it up to a tree in my yard that the borer beetles had killed, and bearhugged the standing tree. It was about 10-12 inches, and 30 or so feet tall. He cut the tree off near ground level, and then carried the tree upright across the yard to the driveway, to the waiting chipper. He laid the tree on the ground and quickly limbed it. Then stuffed the trunk and the limbs into the chipper. Astonishing. If you'd been here, I'd have turned to you and said "whoo doggie".
I'm glad to see now that your over 100,000 subs your starting to see some of the big perks having a channel like this gets you. You have worked really hard to build your channel and I've been here with you since almost the beginning. Great to see your hard work paying off.
Hey Brock, nice to see a Canadian Product Yay Canada :) Great lifting capacity wow. Thanks for sharing as usual. Looking forward to seeing more of this.
Howdy Brock! Wow... awesome little machine! I know you had been fascinated with them for a while. Now you get one to put through it's paces on your property! Pretty exciting stuff - can't wait to see what all you do with it. Well done and thanks for sharing 🤠
Excellent review, Brock. That is a cool-looking machine. I know a guy who has a mini skid steer and a number of larger skid steers and his favorite machine of those is his mini skid steer. Take care and have a good week!
She really IS a beaut, Clark! I'd love to have one of those for working around tight places on my homestead. I'm looking forward to seeing how you put it through its paces. Take care and God Bless.
Nice addition Brock. That would be handy for putting logs on the saw mill and other jobs you have to get on and off. Be watching job you can get done with that.
Congratulations on the new toy 😊 they sure are a nice piece of equipment and being made in Canada is even better 👌 😀 enjoy and can't wait to see what next with it
Awesome machine! I got to operate a Bobcat mt55 that a guy brought over to helped a club that I am in which is called The Dillsburg Jaceey's and they have a park that had a lot of dead ash trees that needed removed. So the club got a grant to plant $6,000 worth of trees and I forget how many we planted. But anyway the Bobcat was awesome and it had an auger on it. And I never operated a skid loader of any size before but it was an awesome experience.
Around here (Northern Lower Península of Michigan) The tree crews use these a lot. They are very efficient for moving the logs around a residential lot after trees have been cut down.
😂 I was thinking you might need a seatbelt and a helmet and then you mentioned the speed. Lol. Looks like fun but I agree, I’m not sure it needs to be faster. I’m sure with time and experience the movements will get smoother… congrats on another cool machine! Looking forward to more content.
Nice machine Brock. It looks like it has plenty of power. I can’t wait to see it in action on some of your projects. Brock if you want to lift more have another helping of meat and potatoes lol. Great introduction to your new machine.
I've never operated one of those, but it seems it would get pretty fatiguing in a short amount of time. It seems like a belt or strap across the back that you could rest your butt against would help, although I can see where from a safety aspect it would be harder to jump clear of the machine if you had a tip over or lost control. The tree company I use for jobs that are beyond my skill level have a Bobcat MT100 with a 360 degree grapple attachment for moving logs. It's rated for 1000 pound operating capacity, but they'll move logs where they basically having it standing on the front of the treads. The guy who usually runs it has a really good feel for the machine, and can pick up huge logs or tiny branches, carry them over to the chipper and feed them in, then whip right back out of there. Fun to watch.
I didn't know this was a thing that existed. I've seen old ones but didn't know they were still a thing from a non-chinese company. I could really use a tiny piece of equipment so I look forward to this series of videos.
Yes, Neil talking about content creators and integrity. I'm sure he's so unbiased on his tractor brands he sells. Anyway, nice machine. Looks very capable.
I think partially what Neil was getting at is that not everyone is transparent about their relationships with brands. I think most of the OG people in this niche are, but not as many of the newer and smaller channels.
It’s easy to see how helpful this machine in tight spaces. Not something I would buy but definitely I will be renting one to replace my dirt pole barn floor.
It seems like you would have terrific visibility, looking over the hood of a machine like this, so you could be a lot more careful with the bucket. Seems like a neat concepts, and I look forward to watching more videos of this thing in action.
great video, I am in Canada and have seen and heard very positive things about these, for a unit this size, the Kubota 25hp engine is a good fit and low maintenance , i haven't heard any down side to these yet, pricing here in Canada is well ???, no one well haggle on price $44,000.00 and no movement, i thought of getting one based on a landscaper using his and his employees love it so far, my use is just around the property similar to yours I'd guess, and would only use a bucket and blade in the winter to clear some snow, i just wished i had the money to get one , a little out of my range for now, awesome video and congrats on a 100K subscribers 👍
Congrats Brock! In July I got a Bobcat MT100 to compliment my JD3320 and the Bobcat is dang near just as capable as my John Deere. It’ll be interesting to see how the Baumalight stacks up in your experiences👏
I almost fell out of my chair when you said unboxing is boring - very true. I can't remember how big you said your property was but I think it's somewhere in the 40-80 acre range. To be honest I don't know too many people that have the kind of money to spend on your large skid steer for that size property without using it for outside jobs to help offset that cost. I believe you said outside work was your plan when you bought it. This mini seems pretty impressive and a some what easier pill to swallow to use just personally. It is definitely perfect for residential yard work. Someone else mentioned this piece of equipment didn't belong on your channel and I didn't get that. This is something someone might use on a smaller property. If you brought in a large excavator I would say it would be out of place for your channel and/or viewers. Dirt Perfect's channel shows large equipment being used because that's what his business uses commercially. I look forward to the coming videos.
Very cool! I'm sure it has its place. What I'm interested in is where is that place?? Can't wait to see the application. Congratulations and good luck sir! I'm guessing subscribers and viewership will explode.😀
I'll be interested in seeing how stable this is on anything other than flat ground. It's an interesting concept, but thoroughly unfamiliar to me. Can you see the bucket well? It seems small enough to allow good visibility all around. I'm looking forward to seeing more video on this.
I'd be curious on that too... Does Baumalight have a tree puller attachment? I could see that being AWESOME to go thru overgrown forest pulling 2-5" saplings. I'd love to do that on my land. Maybe I need to rent one!! Awesome pick-up Brock! WhooooDoggie!
Baumalight is available at tractor and equipment dealers all over the country They have a dealer locator on their website. A new machine runs around 30 K
Hey brock my friend you guys need to watch perfectals run equipment like that your doing way to much turning it's back and forth back and forth cause every time you turn you terror up the ground have fun lol
Thank you ! I'm waiting to see how it performs with a posthole digger ? My guess for price is ~$15,000 ! This machine is in a whole different class than the much cheaper ones with gas engines I've looked at on Utube ! You spent your $$$ wisely !
Get a new toy to play with and dont have to buy. Sound like a win win. If you find out you dont like it you just return it. If you do like it then you buy it. Win win
It's nothing that would interest me, too light duty. For the $$, I'd buy a used cab tracked SS with AC & heat, but that's just me and I'm an old guy. If you're happy with it, that's all that matters.
I’m sure you know I have a cab tracked skid steer with AC and heat. This machine cost less than half of that. The primary market is for businesses that are trying to transport the machine and the materials all in one trailer and work in small spaces
I think the list weight is 2500 pounds but it has the extra ballast weights on this one plus the weight of the operator It can lift about 1300 or 1400 pounds but you can’t take that much to full height. I did a tip test and forced it to tip with a full rack of firewood
Machine isnt for this audience, this is a rental store product for lawnscaping contractor or super city lot diy guy. Lets get this channel back on track.
Glad to see your deal with Baumalite continue. Not just making noise but giving honest reviews! 😁👍
*Keep on tractoring!*
Haha… all these noise makers.
Lol I wonder where that came from. Lol

That is a neat little machine, it would for sure be handy going through gates and stuff. Better than a wheelbarrow, for sure.

Good talk on sponsorship. Great video. Thanks.
Thanks
Looks handy for garden makeovers where access is limited.

Interesting to see the Kubota engine in there... they have a really good reputation so it should be a good machine!
Great visibility compact for fine work
Good night my friend,,, have a nice day
It seems like you would have terrific visibility, looking over the hood of a machine like this, so you could be a lot more careful with the bucket. Seems like a neat concepts, and I look forward to watching more videos of this thing in action.
I have never ran that brand but the 850 ditch witch is an awesome unit .

I hope you don’t go into debt for this one!
Congrats Brock! In July I got a Bobcat MT100 to compliment my JD3320 and the Bobcat is dang near just as capable as my John Deere. It’ll be interesting to see how the Baumalight stacks up in your experiences👏
I like the fact that this unit has covers over the bogies which are not on the Chinese units that are priced cheaper.

Now the hardest part of a job will be trying to decide which machine to take out!
Very cool! I'm sure it has its place.

If they only find away you could set down think it’s going to be nice peace of equipment. I would want to stand .
Anyone have prices, all these guys miss that part.
Have you pushed snow with that rascal yet?
No. We don’t get a lot of snow and my other machines have a cab
I might do it though
@@RockhillfarmYT maybe just for a video. I was curious. Let me know if you do, please
where can i buy one?
what's price on one of these and where can you get one
Baumalight is available at tractor and equipment dealers all over the country
They have a dealer locator on their website.
A new machine runs around 30 K
I’ve wondered about them. What’s the cost of this. Compared to your skid steer
This machine cost the same as my tractor. less than half of the skid steer.
About 34k. My tractor is 31K today.
Is that standard ssqa? Looks to be smaller???
Mini skid steer quick attach is its own connection system.
Hey brock my friend you guys need to watch perfectals run equipment like that your doing way to much turning it's back and forth back and forth cause every time you turn you terror up the ground have fun lol
can it be purchased with a diesel rather than a gas engine ?
This is a diesel. 25 horse Kabota.
Thank you ! I'm waiting to see how it performs with a posthole digger ? My guess for price is ~$15,000 ! This machine is in a whole different class than the much cheaper ones with gas engines I've looked at on Utube ! You spent your $$$ wisely !
What is the chinese original brand and model?
You need me to come put some hours on it for ya? 🤪🤪
Sure
Nice ROPS. Baseball cap at a minimum.
Get a new toy to play with and dont have to buy. Sound like a win win. If you find out you dont like it you just return it. If you do like it then you buy it. Win win
Is there a dealer in the united states?
Yes, there are a lot of them. They have a dealer locator on their website.
I live in rural Kansas and there is a dealer 45 minutes from me.
I’ve been looking at tractors et al. I know this is nine months old but fire $36000 I’m going to have to say no
You should have started with its $40,000.
First
👀
Wow, kinda pricey!!!
It's nothing that would interest me, too light duty. For the $$, I'd buy a used cab tracked SS with AC & heat, but that's just me and I'm an old guy. If you're happy with it, that's all that matters.

GHAY
$30k
That machine can't weigh 3000 pounds. Really?
I think the list weight is 2500 pounds but it has the extra ballast weights on this one plus the weight of the operator
It can lift about 1300 or 1400 pounds but you can’t take that much to full height. I did a tip test and forced it to tip with a full rack of firewood

I have that same shirt hell yeah
You sure it isn't because they have a jesus fish tattoo somewhere on their body?
I thought it was a Busch light skid.......
