Thanks for checking out my video and the kind comment! I think I ended up a little darker than I was originally shooting for but sitting in full sun on my deck has taken care of lightening it up a bit.
Wow, some really good tips in this video! Dialing in the spray on cardboard, keeping the spray tip damp between coats, changing from a wide spray to narrow for the crevices, smart! I really enjoyed seeing the finish tilted in the light to see how it came out, looked great!
Thanks for checking out my video and for the kind comments! The Fuji Semi-Pro 2 does an amazing job and General Finishes makes some great finishes that are easy to spray and look great.
Your mix of the General Finishes stain and clearcoat is basically the same as the Minwax Polyshades product, more or less ? I have used the GF products in the past, they make good products. I usually use a small piece of Cling wrap over my tip between spray sessions. Nice work 👍👍
Thanks for checking out the video and the kind words. One of the things I like about General Finishes Exterior 450 topcoat is it does a decent job when exposed to Mother Nature - especially for a water based top coat. I usually get a couple of years before having to "refresh" the finish - I do prefer using paint as I think it holds up better... I had not considered cling wrap, sounds like a good way to prevent drying out, nice.
@warrentonwoodworks I can usually go back the next day and spray without any issues using the cling wrap. I almost always use Minwax Polycrylic over paint or stain. I just like to have an extra layer of protection.
No, I am not familiar with Enduro conversion varnish - is it a two component material? Would definitely be interested in how it compares to the Exterior 450 as long as it is not too much of a pain to use... Curious if it is for outdoor use also?
I... like the darkness of it. good job.

Have you used it to spray Enduro conversion varnish 2k?
