When will SHTF events likely occur here in the USA? There's an obvious answer but it's still something we need to talk about for prepping.
SHTF prepping efforts should probably ramp up right now. And if you are already prepared, then adding a little extra wont hurt. Even if that's just training or skill learning courses. I think the timeline we are on right now is pretty obvious but I am completely willing to admit I am wrong if it means avoiding any disruption.

I live in NM. I know what you mean. If the newly re-formed Republic of Texas happens maybe they can annex Arizona and New Mexico and eradicate the gangs and cartels. I was recently running some numbers on Albuquerque. The APD has 1K officers. The conservative estimate for gang members in that city is over 15K. I know when SHTF who is going to be running that city.

We as a country have ultimately hurt ourselves by freezing the assets of other countries. The "BRICS" nations are moving away from the dollar and attracting others to soon follow. That together with the non stop printing of money has devalued the dollar to the point we are going to be replaced as the staple currency of the W.M.F. my once thought of great retirement portfolio has and will continue to change over the next ten years. For the first time in 30 years of planning, Im scared for retirement; and not sure im even able too.

@@MagicPrepper I like to think people are smarter than that to think he will fix it all in a single term. Especially with all the new conservatives he is creating and the overall rejection of the woke ideology and the acceptance of America First policies across the board. He may not be able to fix it all, but he can certainly pave the way for the next in line. Absolutely end the war in Ukraine on day to week one. And secure the border. That would put the biggest stopper on everything.
I work at a dealership selling parts; our pay is mostly off commission. We haven’t been able to bill parts or service for days. This is going to hurt a lot of people’s wallet

I've been preaching it to everyone that I can.
My husband wasn't keen on me becoming a prepper after the last election, i just got this feeling of bad things coming. That feeling has been growing and he sees it now too. Point is i told him you buy car, house, and accident insurance, im buying food insurance. My pantry has covered us through rough times.
The more the preppers keep saying increase your prepping, financial setbacks keep hitting my household.
What happens in Chicago in July will spread to first the coasts. Thats the gauge and test for next phase. The Dragon will rise in October.

@@mtnbound2764 It takes a huge amount of water to process cobalt. A new cobalt facility just opened up just north of the farmers. They also started running 24 hours a day. And alot of our Government officials have stock in said facility. So there's that but I could be wrong. Peace and Love.

I am in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with not too many preps, but a Berkey water filter, so I am not terribly screwed, but not comfortably well off. Need to do more prepping.
