What did you do with the maple core? I have 2 bowling pins that I was going to make lamps out of but if you have a better idea, I'd like to hear it. Thanks.
I was going to make snowmen out of them, but I discovered there were too many voids inside to do that, I have made vases out of the body of the pin and miniature birdhouses out of the tops, but I have a major pile of these pins laying around that I am not quite sure what to do with. The first one I used for a snowman was solid all the way through and it turned out great, but every other one I have used since has had major voids inside.
