Simon has really leveled up in this Conan series. Hell he's been doing fantastic the last several games besides 7 Days. I'm so proud. God I'm so happy the boys are playing Conan Again. I'm currently building a Black Ice Keep with a bit tribute to Thick in the center. Can't wait to show it off once its done.
I love all the effort to make Ana the Reaver look like she was gonna be part of the team, only for Simon to fold her like an omlette, and without even using a club. Never change, Ada, never change.
For the oil production it’s 10 unappetizing fish for 1 oil, 5 Savory fish for 1 oil and 1 Exotic fish for 1 oil. Also you can use seeds to turn into oil, 15 seeds to 1 oil. But once you reach a bit mid or endgame if you find a Tier.4 Alchemist in the Alchemy Bench you can craft 1 Ichor and 1 Bark for 5 oil.
technically, a tier 3 alchemist can do it too. but named alchemists are everywhere and that's not even taking into account the fact that Darmok the Experimenter is in the bench thrall pool at the slavers. hell, the slavers have a named thrall for EVERY station EXCEPT armorer and blacksmith (age of sorcery, with age of war they put a blacksmith in the pool, dunno if they put an armorer in there too i got run off my server by dickheads a week into age of war and there's no way in hell i'm building up another character from scratch on another server only to have it happen again because Conan's playerbase are basically all sociopathic. fuck that)

Man the lag like slow combat for this game is perfect for Simon it's like his lag in real life matches it perfectly to where he's actually able to doge and attack. With the right equipment and help he could be a MVP player for this playthrough
Neebs has Grounded Brain! Tools are no good against enemies in Conan. At least they found the Metal Fields, everything you need for early and mid game is right there. I have over 1000 hours in Conan, and i never knew you could just go to a water source and fill a water flask, I always melted ice.

Yall should turn show hud values and hud buffs in settings. It puts numbers on your stamina and health, as well as on all enemies. It might be helpful for you guys. Love the series! Can't wait until you guys get into sorcery

Loved that Spider Shrine, I would always make about 10 for each person in the group so we could use them during boss fights and travels. Definitely one of the best Gods to pick.

Those Orbs can be pretty OP, when they work. Sometimes spiders just mill around until they die. Be warned, they don't play well with others; they respond to friendly fire though they're unhittable to players and can soak a lot of damage from followers. The only followers I've had that could defeat them were fully levelled Berserkers, but they can still succumb to the poison.
Hanuman's Cave near the beginning of the game is my crystal go to spot. Chance for Wight Blade (amazing sword), chance for beast potion, chance for gorilla pet. Plus crystal galore

i recently put a couple months into Conan Exiles to check out the updates. this gameplay appears to be Age of Sorcery update before golems were added and MK spire got the light beam. so 6ish months ago? of course if these vids were made just after Sorcery update i'm way off and it more like 10 months. but i think we'll see the golem update relatively soon in the series.
To get oil from fish, you’ll need 10 of the small blue fish, 5 of the medium piranha looking fish or 1 exotic fish. Each of those get you one oil each.

at one point, back when they last played, you could fight a low level rocknose with a pick and do decent damage, because they are made of stone. last time i played, month or 2 ago, i tested it and it doesn't appear to work anymore. it was never a great way to fight rocknoses, it was just a little mechanical easter egg.

To make oil with the fluid press you need more fish you can also use seeds aswell berries will make stuff and body parts will give blood
