Death makes angels of us all
and gives us wings
where we had shoulders
smooth as raven's
claws
No more money, no more fancy dress
This other kingdom seems by far the best
until it's other jaw reveals incest
and loose obedience to a vegetable law.

My favorite of all of JDM's poems. I've loved it since I was a child, and I'm almost 35 now. Beautiful video, can't watch it without tears streaming down my cheeks. The world misses you, James Douglas Morrison.

I'm visiting once again. My favorite Doors song, my favorite RUclips version. It is 1:45 AM, Saturday, 03 July 2021. Fifty years ago today, on a Saturday as well, James Douglas Morrison died in Paris after living 10,069 days on earth with us. An American Poet, possessing an Intelligence Quotient of 149, Stanford-Binet. He's waiting in the Severed Garden for his feast of friends and loyal fans. I've never discovered another vocalist, or musician in general, as interesting as Jim. We love and miss you Lizard King. ⚘🥺🥀

Yep! Anyone play his melodies and I instantly know it's his work! Thank you Mr. Kreiger & Mr. Densmore......I was born in '70's and me and one of my brothers loved the Doors! Our other brother loves pop rock and stuff. Our parents were more the Beach Boys type back then, but like them, we would sneak away & listened anyways 🤣🤣🤣....to whatever music we wanted to if there was an 8 track around, or a record player.....and finally C.D's! 🤣
