I love this scene, because Martin finally understood that in order to have his son still by his side, or at least love him more, and forgive him is to be honest❤️Plus them Malcolm changed in those few seconds 😱
I will always love Jessica in this scene. When Malcolm tells her Martin tried to kill him, it's like her brain turns off. She is in absolute shock. Then when Malcolm is hurting, because Martin said he had paid ever since for not killing his own son, she moves in to comfort. And as the danger (Martin) comes closer to her baby, she blocks it with her body. Mama Bear is protecting her baby!!!
Seriously hope this show gets renewed for a second season and knows where to end like Breaking Bad. The writing and acting has been exceptional and I just hope it gets the hype it deserves.
Just catching up on this show and the scenes between Malcom and Martin are fascinating, despite the power dynamics of Malcolm being free and Martin being in jail, the scenes are always shot to look as though Malcolm is the one who is trapped, lost & powerless. It just shows the TRUE power dynamics in the scene, Martin is the one in control in every jail scene with Malcolm, Malcolm is more submissive, doesn’t make eye contact, puts his head down, leaves himself physically and emotionally vulnerable & Martin exploits that every time. Even in this scene, Malcolm has his head down & completely silent, until his father snaps him to command & then pushes him to act, and gives him permissions, encourages his darkness - only after being commanded does Malcolm never break eye contact with Martin & he become calm and steady in his behaviour with a deadly undercurrent of anger.
Sandra Smith- I doubt Martin dies, cause if that happens how will Malcom get advice on cases that are to difficult for him to solve. But I do agree about the relationship they have
It was jessica who brought it in her purse, and it was made of a non-metalic material so it got through medical detectors. I don't know why no one put her purse through any other kind of security, except I guess the gaurds already know her (and Malcolm)

And look at Malcolm’s face
"I NEVER hurt a patient on purpose" a serial killer with ethics
The way Malcolm jumped when his father raised his voice... old instincts die hard. This is his dad.
When Martin raises his voice and Malcolm jumped........bro I got some serious chills!
I fell of my chair

"COME ON BOY!!" That have me chills to my spine
That and the way he says "my boy" God I love Micheal Sheen!!

The soundtrack of when he said COME ON BOY! I need it. Now.
Best show! My son and I are loyal watchers. Love the stories. Praying we can enjoy a second season!
Krista Moffat- I’m a loyal viewer as well and I hope so as well

I'm Not Here- I just sat there wondering what was going to happen next
Holy hell this programme just keeps on surprising me!
This episode is about to be great as Jessica and Malcolm. 😁😁😁😁😁
I love how Martin looks annoyed when she calls him a bastard. As if he hadn't just admitted to trying to kill their son!
I actually think Malcolm and Martin has a really cute relationship😍😍So hope He dont die😄

You never know, The story does need some kind off new plot in season 2🤔But I love Martin so they better not😍
Sandra Smith- I totally agree, with the plot, and same here
If Martin lives, I’ll be happy
How did Malcolm get a knife into the prison?
It was jessica who brought it in her purse, and it was made of a non-metalic material so it got through medical detectors. I don't know why no one put her purse through any other kind of security, except I guess the gaurds already know her (and Malcolm)
Beautiful periodt.
What’s the name of the song that was playing during Malcolm’s dad’s surgery?
