Yeah, I was a little worried that watching Prodigal Son would influence me feelings for Azi. So I had to watch Good Omens again. Whew! Still Azi. Not even a whiff of Whitly.
My mind is constantly on this track, "Look, I know he's killed 23 people that we know of, but look at him! He looks like a cuddly teddy bear and I want to hug him!" Then I'm like, "shit, my trauma's got it bad for him," and "No, you can't fall for a serial killer, that's unhealthy," then, "Oh, hell he's fictional why not?" To be clear, I know killing people is wrong and I should hate Martin Whitly for doing what he did not only to his victims but also to Malcolm, however, Michael Sheen plays him so well that Martin Whilty is nearly virtually not hateable. Damn serial killers and their fucking charisma.
He just kidnapped him after they were both held as prisoners at his creepy ex girlfriend’s house and he drugged him and took him on a boat to a different city. This clip is when he comes back to the hotel and finds him awake

Martin is that kind of character that you're supposed to hate, and you really do, but Michael makes him so damn likable that it balances it out
