@@ciqb3588 some people are saying that it’s the ps5 servers are to overloaded and cannot keep up the online games. Some also saying that it’s call of duty servers apparently if you try playing early hours in the morning then it doesn’t lag at all
Keep in mind it also depends on the speed you are paying for. This will make it difficult when on a mesh mode router by default. If you do have one separate the wifi 5 and 2.4 by giving distinguish names.
Under contracts with IP servers . They do stat that the service maybe 85% operational of the time due to maintenance etc . During extreme heats especially in the summer there's no real guarantee the internet will be smooth even on fiber . Accidents happens . That's what infrastructure bill comes into play

For some reason it doesn't work for the 5GHz. It was saying it can't find the wifi network. It was also saying the signal might be too weak or the SSID might not be correct, but it works for the 2.4GHz though. Any idea why?

I had a similar problem of having a lameass 5mbps download speed. I reset the box but it did not change at all. So I saw this video and did as he told: selected 2.4 Ghz firsrt, it didnt change, then I selected 5 Ghz, now its 300 mbps. Thanks!

Spoke with my ISP 4 separate occasions. They gave me a new router and preconfigured an entirely new network for me. Tried moving the router to the same room. Tried the Google Public DNS. Tried running different devices at different times. Tried gaming vs. streaming. Tried it all it seemed like. The moment I'd boot up the PS5, my internet on every device would tank to 3-5MBp/s and would lag out every game and make it virtually unplayable. Been working on this for 2 weeks and this solved it. Has even kept the internet stable for the other devices while playing. A ridiculously simple answer that worked for me. Just a ps5 issue?

Bro I’m going to be sincere literally u saved me I was having lag spikes and my internet was acceptable like 90.mbs but now since I watched it I changed for 5ghz and it worked for me perfectly fine even increasing my download speed up to 150mbs. Ps: when you switched to 5ghz try to restart the ps5 bc when I switched I was still having the problem until I restarted ;)
Warzone ps5 lags (2 sec freeze random) I dont think that you will answer my comment however i dont know what to do at this point. My problem are short lags (for 2 seconds my game freezes and then it continues to work fine until the next random lag will come) I have this problem only in Warzone. My Ping is in game between 20 and 50 (mostly consistant at 32 or smth) besides those random lags (i get the 3 yellow or orange squares on the left corner of my screen) I have 250mbits connection and i get 80-90 mbits via powerline adapter trough lan cable in my Ps5. On ps4 (standart edition) i never had those lags close to never. Btw same powerline adapter etc. When i play Rainbow six siege on ps5 i dont have any lag issues. My ping is between 17-30 and only goes further up (40-100+) when i download warzone for example. But thas normal. However in Warzone those lags make this game unplayable while i'm the only person in our network and especially the only person in the powerline Network. Btw if youre reading this and you are not John you maybe can help me out aswell. ^^ I appreciate everybody that answers me bc i dont know what to do at this point. And no i cannot connect my ps5 via Lan directly in my router bc there are roomes inbetween. And since powerline works just fine for Rainbow 6 siege (which is way more competitive than warzone) i believe that should be enough. On top of that i never had this issue on my ps4 (standart edition) with the same network gear. Just got my PS5. Hardwired I’m getting at the most 35 Mbps on a 500 Mbps typical signal. Wireless is worse. Finally got one of these after a 9 month wait and it sucks with internet? WTF? I can get my money back but getting an exchange is impossible at this point.

Wow... Switching from automatic to the 5GHz was the best thing I did with this system lol thanks!
This and changing my dns settings changed it from disconnecting every 5 minutes to it seeming very stable now! Thanks for this!
