In this video, we address the recent and devastating attack on the founders of Casa De La Paz, Jim and Marilyn Moxin. Casa De La Paz is a facility for seniors in Bucerias, Mexico currently in the later stages of construction. These compassionate advocates were brutally injured, but the community is rallying together to support them and ensure their mission continues.
We need your help to turn this tragic event into a positive force. Please consider donating to support the construction and operation of Casa De La Paz. Your generosity will help create a safe and caring environment for seniors in need.
In addition, we are excited to announce the winner of a 5-night stay at Casa de Los Soñadores in Bucerias! Join us as we tour the vibrant Tianguis market and share in the joy and culture of this beautiful community.

Thank you Paul. My wife Shelly has said that when we get to be in Bucerias full time, the first thing she wants to do is volunteer at the home (she is an RN in the States and specializes in wound care). Many prayers to Jim and Marilyn, and God bless Carlos for his support. --- thank you so much for doing this video. Today 8/20 was my 60th birthday... I had so many things to be thankful for and so many blessings .. and after everyone went to bed... there was this representation of loving kindness. Words can't express my appreciation for your art and love for the community. I say thank you-- but it just falls short ❤❤

I am absolutely flabbergasted that a Canadian citizen would perpetrate such a heinous crime against two wonderful and giving people. Lock him up and throw away the key! Prayers and thoughts to Jim and Marilyn, and their support network. Perhaps some good can still come from this appalling act. Thank-you Paul for linking to Casa de la Paz.

We are broken hearted to hear this unbelivable news! Jim and Marilyn have given SO much over the years in both Bucerias and La Cruz. Their wonderful dream of building a home for seniors has a project that has consumed their lives over the past years. They never gave up even when the going was tough. So, to hear that some thug did this to the kindest, and most giving people we have ever met is beyond belief! Our love and best wishes to both of these dear people. S & J

They literally have EVERYTHING. At random times I needed a TV antenna, a remote, an adapter for my socket wrench, a jar for the blender, a jigsaw blade, tree branch loppers, in addition to the common things like socks, fruits and veggies, flower pots, etc. No need for Amazon when you have the tianguis!

The walk through the Market was lovely I really enjoy looking at all the things that are available for purchase at your location. Have people no respect for anyone anymore, even the elderly who are literally doing God's work in Mexico? How about just mind your own business? Being in their 90's, this could have been so much worse. They are a very resilient couple.
It seems that when you do something good, you will always have opposition from an enemy. To think of how Mexico has a reputation of being dangerous and the perpetrator was not even Mexican, he was from a "safe" country, Canada. I hate to see immigrants/expats acting badly in whichever country is hosting them.
As a Christian, to me, this is nothing short of evil. That's the only explanation that comes to mind. I pray for speedy healing for Jim & Marilyn. May what was meant for evil be used bring awareness to their cause and increased donations to propel it forward. 🙏

The word "tianguis" comes from the Classical Nahuatl word tiyānquiztli or tianquiztli, which was spoken by the Aztecs and means "market". The tradition of tianguis dates back to the pre-Hispanic era and was a vital part of Aztec cities, connecting communities economically and socially.
