Hello and thanks for this little review of this tiny little 28mm ! I tried one yesterday, the titanium version, on the French Photography trade show in Paris. I was simply impressed by the build quality and it was too short to have a full impression of the image quality but I'm about to place an order maybe as I find so interestingly small for travel on my Lumix S5ii paired also with my Leica 40mm summicron.
Thanks for watching! Wow it’s been a dream of mine to attend the Paris Photo Show. I agree, the build quality on this tiny lens is superb. Mine even started brassing so it’s looking pretty cool. It’s so small and lightweight to bring as a travel lens 😊
@NoctiGirl Christmas here feels like about 24 hours short, and back to work today, Tuesday, but never mind ! Thank you for all your Nocti-wisdom, and wishing you continued success in the RUclips universe and in business, and above all, the world of contentment. 😌
Thanks! I’m definitely searching for it. I talk about it in my next video. For the longest time I’ve been searching for “happiness” but I realized that it’s not happiness I’m looking for because it can be so fleeting. Fulfillment and contentment are longer lasting 😊
Very interesting and useful as always. I might suffer from mild Focus Anxiety, but most TTArtisan lenses don't seem to need it. I have the Leica version. Slightly more glow and character (especially on B&W), but this is a NoctiBargain.
Hahaha you are right about that! I was pleasantly surprised by how sharp the lens was. Very easy to pull focus. How do you like the Leica version? You know I prefer character over sharpness. Does the “glow” affect image clarity at all?
@@NoctiGirl The Leica version is clear and, in reality, most of the image is in focus by default. It has lots of character and is small. It's shiny and silver in appearance, whilst the TTA version is obviously black. The silver is more classic looking, which comforts my brain in a superficial way...
You always manage to make me smile with your responses. I also like them silver and shiny, that’s why my silver Nocti not only comforts my brain but also fulfills my heart 😂 BUT in all seriousness, 28mm is not really my focal length. I’d probably get a 24 or 21 eventually. Though of course if they ever release a 35 Nocti I will for sure get it 🤓
I’ve been looking at this lens for my MP. Its certainly cheaper than the Leica version and seems like a great purchase, especially for a film camera. Did you have to adjust the focus at all?

Late to the party, but got this lens for SL2-S a couple of months ago and man do I love it! Great video!
Thank you so much! I love how small and easy to use it is. Not to mention the matte black with white lettering match my M6 perfectly 😎
Hi Charlice, awesome video! Wow what an amazing lens! Excellent detail for the price! Sounds like another trip is coming! Haha!
Thank you so much Ron!!
Hahaha YES!! Trips are definitely coming. I can’t wait! 🤩
@@NoctiGirl awesome and definitely looking forward to watching them! I hope your week is going well! Take care Charlice!
Thanks Ron!! 😊
Had a lot of fun making this with you as always 🥳🥳🥳

CONTENTMENT! That's what I am striving for this year 😎
@NoctiGirl And I hope that you find it. You deserve it. The world is not always fair, unfortunately...

@@NoctiGirl Once you go Silver .... I have the black Noctilux, but actually desire the silver one (but not in the Biblical sense.)
@@NoctiGirl I have the Leice 21mm. It's sharp and good for B&W, but you need to frame horizontally to avoid overbearing distortion.
Which m camera did u use this lens with? 10 or 11? Sorry, cant see that clearly😂
Haha it’s an M10P Safari 🙂
@@NoctiGirl thanks

Honestly, I am quite impressed by this lens. It’s a really good buy for the price. Very sharp. And nope, didn’t need to do any focus adjustments!
Nice
🤗
FYI Matt Osborne gave you a 'shout', but in a polite, English manner, at the end of his most recent video.
Ooooh thanks for the heads up!! Let me look 👀
@@NoctiGirl You're welcome. Onwards and Noct-upwards !
I found it! I’m going to leave him a comment 😊
@@NoctiGirl Good ! More Nocti-Power !

How cute is your Minnie Mouse watch face.
Hahaha you noticed!! 😆 I didn’t notice till I started editing 😝
