Elysium does have a much more "HoMM3 but arcade" feel to it so I do think it will be easier to pick up. If you do want me to do a vid on Dom5 do let me know ;)
You can not build cities, villages or towns. Some do automatically upgrade occasionally. I think a village can upgrade to a market village sometimes, but it is rare. Also, certain classes can upgrade villages, like the Barron or Burgmeister for example to make them more productive. You can upgrade certain cities or citadels with fortification upgrades sometimes e.g. the Illusionist can upgrade a citadel to have mirrored walls which help protect you when you are attacked. I do wanna warn so people in comments dont get an insta game over. Enemies can be on the other end of a beanstalk and you gonna need a good army to face them. I emember the first time I did it was again 3 145 hp trolls that lobbed rocks.
I kinda hate the economy in this game, if you lose your starting army before you capture like 15 gold production places you gotta restart the game or wait 400 turns to rebuild your army.
nice guide, but maybe turn the music down a little, sometimes the music was louder then your voice which is sad because you actually have a nice voice and i couldn't understand what you said
You need to whisper more in your videos, you're too loud, and also maybe make the background music a bit louder so your whispers get drowned in the music a bit more effectively.
Man thanks for the tutoiral, but you talk too quiet. Like why are you whispering, I have to crank my volume way up to navigate your quiet british accent lol

This is good advice. In fact, any type of portal or entrance should be treated with mega caution...
