Hello Cairn! I just wanted to let you know that I found your channel about a week ago and and that I really enjoy your videos. My favorite videos of yours are the CoE videos and Dominions videos. I like them because they are some of my favorite strategy games. Thanks for making great videos!
It wasn’t that bad once I had a lot of apprentices around, but it sucks early game when you only have 1 plus the Master and no recruits available for dozens of turns.
Aw man the intro was really great, loved the introduction of the faction and everything. But sadly not being able to see the mouse frustrates me to no end. I like to see where you are hovering and everything so i can better follow along and know where to focus. Hope you can change that someday! You really deserve more subs though, enjoyed fhe first 20 min very much. Keep it up
I reccomend the no invasion mod I have had about half a dozen campaigns end in the first 20 turns cus the hell portal opened up Theres 3 maybe 4 end game events They are rolled at world gen Hades is fine, the void sucks and you saw inferno The fourth is Ants
I like keeping them on, but they can be really brutal if you are not able to get a quick victory as I did or else survive it somehow and outlast the others. Probably if I couldn’t take out the others in time I would have planar swapped to Hades and settled there instead.
Lol discord mod. Female appearance is fitting to necromancer faction. Btw how'd you got it? Is it a mod or necromancers can randomly have different picture?
This is what I meant, all Undead recover insanity overtime, so if you twiceborn your mages, once they are too insane to be useful you can try to kill them and they can be useful again.
Souless are literally not worth your time Always just seperate them out where you find them and use thrm as landmines CoE5 is a fun game but the amount of RNG is infuriating Your wizards you want have a percent chance to recruit every turn Some sites increase the amount Also fuck Agartha, everytime i find the cave entrance its a 2x2 cave with nothing in it but troglodyte mobs
I just leave them when I get them unless I’m desperate form some chaff to guard a Mage who will do most of the work. Still they re not even great at defending since I will lose a ton of them to some random bandits who attack a town.

You can press s when transfering units to select/deselect all slow units.

The insanity mechanic is really frustrating.
But i guess it makes transforming all these critters into liches all the more satisfying.

Love the CoE content! Hoping you play a martial class next! Dealing with late game enemy mages as a mundane class is definitely an experience

What mods are you using for this run? Your commanders look different for one thing.
Starting defence mod to AI doesn’t get themselves killed by deer, and waifu Necromancer mod which is just some meme mod I saw.

For the next video I make on CoE I was thinking of a martial class like Senator, so maybe a large Empire map would be fun for that.
