I remember dead-rolling this and all the other carts so they stung 2 seconds early, faded up on my sat return channel to give a great echo effect leading into the breaks. Danny S, the TD on my shift, did the same with the logo bumper after he heard it once, using an ADO to animate it like a rocket lifting off and it combined for a great moment of futuristic fun (this was all futuristic in ‘82). Thank you for posting this and taking me back to my time in the SNC audio booth. It was a great 2 yrs, (16 months on-air). We built it from the ground, up. 300 miles of video cables. Good times.
I never forgot this great news jingle when it was used on Satellite News Channel. It was actually a good channel. Everyone thought it was going to kill off CNN Headline News....and it didn't....
