    When you split the bench you basically created new slabs and because the main option was set as default (pen icon) they became part of the main model. To prevent this from happening, make sure to select the duplicated option as default right after creating it.
    Great content btw!

    As someone looking to transition from Revit to Archicad, your tutorials are phenomenal for real-world applications. Design options appear to be a lot better in ArchiCad than in Revit. However, I believe the renovator tool still needs work. In Revit, you can create different phases (i.e. Existing, Stage 1 Works, Stage 2, etc.). Archicad does not appear to have this ability from what I have found, but after watching this video, it looks like design options might be a viable way of showing this.
    I also noticed your UI is back to default with this video, but in the past, you have had your tools up on the top and properties on the left. I have attempted to drag and drop my UI so it's similar to this (properties on the left). However, it doesn't appear to be a drag-and-drop option. Do you know if they have removed this ability is ArchiCad 27 or is it a further custom setting?

      oh yeah, Archicad does not create real PHASES....... and now i'm thinking to use design option to make phases........

    Thank you for the good tutorial! I havean issue that I need some guidance. I have linked balconies as a module to an archicad project and I want to attach them as let's say "Balconies option 1". The problem is that Archicad doesn't let me link modules to this option. Is it possible link them somehow?

      Thanks! Wish I could be a help, but I can't say that I've tried the design options tool with modules yet.... If you come across a solution I'd love to hear it though, and it would help anyone reading these comments. Thanks

      Might be you don't have BIMcloud permissions. Ask you BIM manager.

      Might be your work ArchiCAD 'Work environment', try going to options-> work environment -> work environment, then on the left hand side click 'work environment profiles', then under 'stored profiles', you can double click 'Architectural Basic Profile 27'. (before you do this I'd recommend saving your user preference if you've set up a custom user interface, so that you can quickly and easily revert at any time.) after this, when the dialog box pops up, I'd click 'apply', then 'ok'. then check to see if the 'options' are available in window-> pallets. hope that is of some help, thanks

    Do you use archicad for actual kitchen design projects and for manufacturing the design or are there other programs
    You would recommend?

      If it's just a kitchen layout, ArchiCAD gets the job done for me. But for a cabinetry manufacturer, they might have more niche software. Best way to find out is to go to "seek" (or your preferred job/career finding site) and see what cabinet manufactures require in their software experience. If you find out more, would love to hear back from you. cheers

    Ehm, thanks but... If I have a simple DOOR :) In my project, I want a design option in wich that door disappears.... HOWTO? thanks

    • @glasials5
      @glasials5 3 месяца назад +1

      Since a door is linked to wall, remove the wall and place a new wall (copy and paste) without the door in option 2.

    I still don't get it. How come you manage to illustrate almost every thing under ten minutes. This is crazy don't you know that even for an hour we could stay 😀😀
