Laura it's so funny - I work at a nursery and you can tell which of our customers watch your videos. I've been watching you for years now, and during the planting season I always make sure to watch your videos before my shift. It's guaranteed that at least a dozen customers will come in and ask for the plants you specifically mentioned that day. Nice to have a heads up beforehand to learn plant care info for varieties I haven't personally tried. Thanks for all that you do!
@@karmaisbad6672 your totally on to something with that request! I’d love to see a Laura’s table they would have a hard time keeping that table stocked lol
Yes, yes, yes, to "Laura's table"! I wish our chain nursery here in Georgia would get with the program and order proven winners plants. Editing this to include that I emailed the office of the president for our chain nursery telling them about Garden Answer (1.67 million subscribers) and PW. I requested they stock PW and included the experience in original post as to how popular GA & PW are.
I kept my sweet potato 🍠 core and over wintered it in a medium sized pot and have it in my kitchen and it just stared to bloom about a week ago I’m so excited I decided to keep it and will do this from now on
I don't know which sweet potato variety I had this past year, but it was the dark deep purple vine full of the prettiest purple blooms. Looked kinda like a mini petunia. I had to trim it back twice.
Hi Guys! Just want to share a tip. Last season I got hold of a sweet potato vine here in Sweden for the first time, it was a PW (they’re starting to show up here in Sweden yaaaay 🙌🏼) but can’t remember wich one, dark maroon, with green new growth but another leaf shape than the one Laura mentioned here. Anyway, it bloomed like crazy with light lavender super bell like flowers for me and I took it inside before first frost and have it under som shop lights and the whole winter I’ve been taking cuttings, sooooo easy to propagate and root in water or directly in pots and right now I have over 20 plants! Because it bloomed, I also have a bunch of seeds so I’m also trying to start it from seed. And now I got a tip how to use my cuttings in flowerbeds too. Thank you Laura!❤
Who else opened up their notes app and started making a wish list?! I told myself last year that I wouldn’t buy annuals but start my “color” from seeds, which I already have, but gracious these are pretty, and now I’ll be on the hunt and put these somewhere! Gorgeous! Thanks Laura! ❤
Good morning, Laura ☕️ I’m so ready for Spring. We’re expecting Arctic 🥶 temperatures this weekend 😩here in Boston so I’m going to stay home and rewatch garden videos till it passes 🤣 Have a Blessed Day 😊🐈
Julie, your comment made me chuckle. I needed that! We are cold here in South Oregon too, Not as cold as you most likely. A crisp 29 degrees here this morning..
Mrs Julia, that's been my ordeal the past couple of days, Im off of work and had plans to pot up some cuttings and this weather has halted my outside work but I can still do a lil something inside! My plants are def my therapy!! I get lost in them and I love every minute of it!! God Bless you and your family, I pray we all warm up and get to love on our plants as much as we want too!! 🙏
Low benches with no backs in the west side garden in the gaps between the trees would look amazing without demanding alot of attention. While the boxwoods put more growth on, the benches might be noticable, but would quickly blend into the flow.
Laura just keep going! Don’t stop at 5 😆. These are awesome and I took a screenshot of each one. They look so amazing in your garden. Major goals here! 🙌

It was great knowing you planted 9 of the Bewitched after midnight Sweet Potato Vine plants to create the show at the chicken coop. I was truly amazed at the sheer number of plants you use both in landscape (in one area) and containers, now have to train myself to choose multiple plants when I see them. It was very helpful to know the numbers to create the look and the swoop!
Hello 👋 Anita. How are you doing? Hope are you fine. I'm Zack Hudson and am from Denver Colorado, where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
This is referring to a previous video you posted. Having a swing set when I was a child was my favorite toy of all time. And we used it 3 of the 4 seasons. So we got our children one and built a sand pit for them. Yes we did have to cover it because of the neighborhood cats. I love your show and watch every video. I’m handicapped now and can’t make my landscape as I would have it. My husband doesn’t like to garden at all, so to keep him from griping when I want to add to or make changes I just bring in one plant in at a time. You learn those tricks when you’ve been married for 45 years. Haha! Thank you for your videos.
Here's the list so you don't have to stop the video lol Love me some Garden Answer Laura in the morning with my tea! 1)Superbena Imperial Blue, also Superbena Sparkling Amethyst 2)Supertunia Mini vista Yellow 3)Supertunia Persimmon 4)Surefire Rose Begonia, new varieties Cherry Cordial and White 5)Sweet Caroline Bewitched After Midnight Sweet Potato Vine
Thank you so much for the list, my memory doesn't take too much info, and they always have so many names to try and remember, thank you much appreciated ❤❤❤
It feels like I’m making a Spring Christmas list - oh, yes, I will be checking it twice so everything is nice and beautiful in the garden this year. By the way, I call my list Laura’s Favs 💕
We moved to a brand new home last April and I bought 5 little pots of PW supertunia pink Bubblegum. What a performance! Neighbors made comments on their beauty. I am hooked!
Consider doing mini garden tours this year. We miss seeing progress in your garden. A tour of the chicken coop, a tour of the west garden, a tour around the house, a tour of the willow tree area, etc. Less time consuming tours will thrill us.
I like the idea of a mini tour too. I thought I heard Aaron say the tours they do get a lot of views. I know for me, I have to watch those tours in segments. It’s not a dig on GA, it’s just how I’m wired and mini tours would work for me.
Laura, sweet potato is Asian crop, and is very delicious. The young vines is for salad; toss with vinegrette and cherry tomatoes. Sweet potato is also delicious as bread extender like squash. Those are not just simply ground covers, it’s food.

I bought superbena Imperial Blue last year after watching you. I have multiple plants that are still alive after many multiple nights into low to mid 20 degrees and a big ice storm at Christmas. At this point, I'm leaving them in to see if they start blooming again in spring. They sure are behaving more like a perennial here in Vancouver, WA zine 8b. Wow! Super impressing plant!!

The Supertunia Persimmon is GORGEOUS! I'm such a sucker for both coral/warm pinks and two-toned flowers. I have to look for that one this year- I know exactly where I will put them!
Wow!! Awesome hope we can get these in podunk pensacola fl😅
Yes, like others, l have my list going. But wondering if these are all PW plants. Thanks for these videos, especially when we are all anxious for Spring!!
Yes these are all PW plants.
That color top on you is wonderful. Thanks for the info!
Bewitched potato vine is one of my favorites too. They don’t sell out as quickly as any of the green ones but they are more compact, still grow large but don’t run amuck like others
Superbeana and yellow petunia is on my list!
The teal color top looks beautiful on you and compliments your eyes. So pretty inside and out. Have a blessed day.
Well, you’ve done it again. My list of plants for this coming summer is growing rapidly because of you. I am up for trying any new plant and if it succeeds I buy more if it doesn’t work I’ve learned something. Thank you for all you do it is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!! I’m gonna keep my 👀 out!!!
Thank you for this vdeo. I plan to plant three of the ones you mentioned.

Absolutely excellent collection 💕
Always a pleasure to get this kind of information. Will definitely be trying some of them.
Great video! Thank you for sharing. I am going to try the sweet potato vine as a ground cover. I need some nice looking ground cover in one of the front area gardens
