My particular Settup yes. But I’m sure you can just put a slip on only and jet it. In the instructions it tells you exactly how to tune for what set up you have.
I have a 2007 sm stock exhaust. Bigger end cap and k&n air filter. No air box mod. Can i use this kit with stock exhaust with or without air box mod. Trying to solve all the issues ive had with stock carb over the yrs without buying exhaust
Over £100 seems extortionate for a few brass jets, I'm shocked there seems to be no cheaper option in the UK for this carb. It would be cheaper for me to buy a second-hand FCR39 and jet kit for that carb!
@@Mr2moto I’m curious if you messed with the main jet or clip position down the road at all. The way you set yours is how it says mine should be set as well, but some people change to the 3rd position, 2.75 turns, and the 160 main jet and say it runs better (with full system exhaust and 3x3 @ around 200-800ft above sea level)
@@itsbeer30somewhere74 this way that I set it up has been pretty decent and reliable. a couple buddies of mine set it up this way watching the video actually and they’ve told me it runs good. We don’t have the DRZ anymore but I would have loved to try that way that you mentioned to see if there was a difference.
@@shawnjoseph7522 just got done doing mine lol just ordered a long fuel screw from Amazon so that should be here tomorrow and I can throw the carb back on 🤘🏽
Get a longer fuel screw it will help when u need to adjust it it will make it a lot easier if your out and about no Screwdriver needed
bet bet thank you bro
The music and the rain made this video 100 x better.
very relaxing i knowwwww
I love the graphics and the matching spokes. So dank.
Thank you thank you !!
Where did you get the graphics kit looks awesome
thanks for sharing! Is aftermarket exhaust a requirment for this jetting tune?

@@Mr2moto thanks a lot dude!
Not to sound dumb , im kinda new to all this , do you need to empty the gas tank to do this mod?
Depends on the petcock I think. Newer drz has vacuum operated petcock that won’t flow unless it’s running or turning over from what I’ve read
Excellent tutorial vid, straight to the point. Thanks man.
Liking for the joey badass intro and content of course
Thank you my brothaaaa

Yes You can bro! In the instructions it tells you different setups. And they have one for stock exhaust and with or without air box mod.

It ran good tbh. I had to fix some wires I had wrong but other than that it ran fine.

@@Mr2moto That’s good enough for me, as long as it’s reliable and an improvement, then maybe I’ll mess with it later on. Thank you for the video man 👊
