So... this was just a demonstration of me trying these ASP dual forms for the FIRST time. I appreciate the suggestions and critiques but I have no intention of purchasing "Pro Dual Forms". For people wanting to try this at home make sure you are sizing the dual forms correctly. They should be big enough to completely cover the nail, side wall to side wall AND also have a slight gap in between the dual form and your natural nail.This gap is what is going to give you strength. When pressing down make sure not to press that gap down either, you don't want your dual form mashed down to your nail. My final tip is to also use a regular nail tip to avoid having to file the underneath.
ASP forms and the ones you can get from China are very skinny. You should try Pronails or YSnails. I got both kinds from eBay, but you have to search by name. Just don’t get YSnail forms directly from YSnails because you might not receive them, bad company, but great forms! My first order was from their website and I never got them. Then I ordered from a private seller from eBay and they are the best. Pronails have salon style, extra long, and extreme curve. Just thought this might help someone.
I done your steps with my first attempt with dual forms and they turned out LOVELY. I feel so Pretty. I glued on clear tips to prevent acrylic excess underneath. I have short to the quick nails but not anymore. Thank you❣️

When you fit them, look at them from the side to see if there is a gap under where the apex is, and make sure the dual form fits side wall to side wall with that gap under there. That’s where the bulk of your product needs to be. ❤️ Kirsty with Naio Nails posted a great how to video recently.
These are pretty!! You can customise the the forms. Trim them to fit. Also to stop the hump at the cuticle. Angle it up and lay it down at a 45 degree it will push the product forward so it won’t push out of the back.

I saw NailCareerEducation try out the Bioseed dual forms, and they have some really big, toenail big, sizes all the way down to nice and small. I'm going to see how much they want for them and give them a try. Gotta love crystal clear. 💕💝
Christina Leister if they sell them individually I'm sure it would work with acrylic. Instead of the full set which I think would be for someone who is just starting out and has nothing except some files maybe because I know when I bought my first kit, it was well over $150 for EVERYTHING I needed

It’s better to have the dual form be bigger than your nail bed. Yeah you already see if you get right at your size or if it’s too small. The sides suffer with lack of acrylic. That super shine is everything I’ve been using gummy gel. So pretty the outcome!

I have 4 different brands of polygel, rolled some small balls, never washed my hands afterwards, 48 hrs later, no break out. Very strange for sure. Been wanting to try your designs. Beautiful! Saw a video with the duel forms, using nail forms, no underneath problems.

What do you use to clean up any acrylic that squishes out? Acetone?
Parisa Taaheri quickly take a cuticle stick and scrape it off before it sets up

Great job. Go to ebay and check out pro nails dual forms. Kind of expensive. But they have long, lond curve and regular size dual forms.
