Bruh, my whole life changed within a week. I had to keep my life on hold for months, waiting for a decision from Washington, DC, because I got injured in the military. Once they retired me, I had to move my newborn baby and my wife, who had just delivered our bundle of joy, plus 2 dogs from San Diego to DFW, Texas, back in July. Fast forward to today, I got a good-paying job where my wife doesn't have to work, my baby is healthy, my wife is happy and healthy, and I bought her dream house. We move in on November 1… the man upstairs works in mysterious ways, and I'm forever grateful for the outcome. The moral of the story is never to give up and keep moving forward.

I drove from MN to TX and it was no joke. It was me and my, at the time 14yr old. We listened to ALOT of music and we didnt stop unless it was to use the bathroom or stop at a drive thru for food. It was 18hrs and driving at night was the hardest. We’ve been in Houston 3yrs and no regrets. When you mentioned nothing working out, that was definitely relatable as I felt like everything that could go wrong did but I still made the move. I can’t wait to hear about your first year in Dallas over all. Thank you for sharing your journey. 🫶🏽

My narcissistic was the opposite, doing everything to try and hold me back, just like all of his kids. My mom when she was here, was so supportive, we had a plan for my life. His was all women should be in the house and barefoot and pregnant, and their husband should be the head and one being served. So glad I got away from him 30 years ago. And he’s American. Dude tried to get me kicked out of school. Crazy. The support of your parents is vital. I went to college fairs and he was jealous and saying negative things. Some parents be trying to sabotage their kids future.

I had an ex that when he would see those 18 inch wheelers. He would drive in between, or he to it, knowing I was scared and he was in their blind spot. I said what are you trying to do k*ll me? Saying trust me, we’re fine. I’m like get out of their blind spot, slow down. Everyone else I knew wouldn’t do that. But he did. I casually said to him when it first happened, can you please slow down and wait for it to pass or get in front of it. When he found out that was a fear of mine he did it. Anything I didn’t like, he would do things on purpose to get a reaction out of me. So glad I got rid of him. That’s very narcissistic and childish. It’s like he couldn’t wait to see one just to try and scare me. He acted like it was a car game he would play.
I was born and raised in Michigan. As an adult I have lived all over the country, and I am STILL told people can tell I'm from the Midwest (despite not living in Michigan for many years)! Embrace it - you have a very nice voice and should be proud of your good Midwestern upbringing.
I live in Tennessee now, and Tennesseans will say the aggressive, rude drivers are those who have relocated to TN from California and New York 😂. But you're right - the dudes in pick ups are the worst.

I did the same thing!! I packed up my car 🚗 with a tv 📺 a tote full clothes and moved from OH to AZ! I did transport my car it would’ve taken me 3 days to get to AZ so I ✈️ flew congrats 🎉🎈🎊 safe travels ❤
