Aperture 650, 550, 300 and 36 and 24” soft boxes. I got these and while heavy they get the job done. I’ll be using two of the MC Pros for lighting the walls / book shelves etc.
Dang, Sidney really got that perfect narrator voice. His pronunciation. His pacing. Soothing tone! Everything! Such an awesome review! Looking forward to getting some Aputure lights
4:57 the concept of adjusting green/magenta is new to me. What does this accomplish? When you adjusted it in this video, I saw no difference. Does it affect something in post?
Great overview of the kit! Did you try if these lights can work at 100% intensity plugged in, for a fixed studio setup? Have you tried that? Ideally a solution that allows to turn them off after shoots. Would you recommend a different kit/setup for that purpose? Thanks!
Great video, well done ! Why is the Aputure MC pro so expensive though, it is only 5W. Would it be able to light up properly a subject at 5-7m distance ?
Sidney: "C'mon. Magnets." Me: "Welp, I'm sold!" 😂 Honestly though, pretty stoked about this little light, especially the weather-resistance! That alone makes it great for use in the field. I currently have the MC perma-slotted into my camera bag but will definitely be picking one of these up to compliment it. Great video as always, my friend! Keep 'em coming!
When you connect as you say “spot light” before dome - you not shaping the light. It will still spread. What you did there is just cut intensity of the light
Aputure MC pro vs Zhiyun Fiveray M40, Aputure MC pro produce 1580 Lux in half meter which means 790 in 1 meter price $200 , Zhiyun Fiveray M40 1050 Lux at 1 meter in same CRI price $99, which one is brighter & cheap ?

No bad things? Never trust an influencer... There are a lot of bad things. Firstly, CCT mode is more of a joke. The cool white LEDs have a different beam angle than the warm/orange LEDs, so the center is always colder than the surroundings. You can avoid this with the diffuser, but you need half the light output. The battery life is more one hour at full power rather than two hours. The honeycomb does not line up with the LEDs, so the smaller beam angle is significantly darker. Finally, the magnetic ball head is a pretty cool idea. However, the magnet is not that strong, so you have to be very careful when installing it. For less than half the price you can find far more professional solutions...
The LituPhoto brand made it first. Lighter, lasts longer, has more features, and costs less than half that. You have to investigate more and stop using brands that only youtubers use.
Does it have lumenradio? The name brand brands have certain features that are less common in cheaper ones. The Sidus app is also very good. But I do agree that you get a lot of value from less known brands, my jinbei ef 60 ii is excellent for what it is (build quality is low).
What's your DREAM lighting kit???
Been looking at Zhiyun Molus x100 as my next gear purchase. 100w light but the size of a smartphone.😄

Cool video, thanks! I see SmallRigPixM160 is 160W instead of 5W that AputureMCPro is, and costs half the money though. Am i missing something ?
any idea if these are good for slow motion filming?

I just really love your videos 🙏🏾 keep up the good work
We've designed an adaptor for the MC-Pro to be able to get used with the Rosco DOT diffusor in case you're interested in having a look at it.
Cool! thank you for useful information!
Dumb q, can you use this as a flash for photography too?
Does the original Mc 4 pack charging case still work?
$200. I knew it would be crazy expensive.

Is the Zhiyun Fiveray M40 weather proof or can you only use it in the studio or outside on a nice day in a clean environment?
Are you aware that fiveray m40 is bicolor while this one is rgbww? Probaly not
I'm one of those peeps tuning in just to listen to Sidney explain stuff 😂

@@boywonder2799, ain't going to be the same quality as the Aputure product, you know quality matters, I understand it doesn't fit your budget maybe.

Let's be fair: this light is a rip-off

Whenever I use brands I don't know, they don't usually last. I've never had an Aputure light fail me and I've been using them for years.

Do you even know anything about the Aputure brand? It's not a brand that "only RUclipsrs use".
