anyone know why my acans suddenly seem to be receding/dying?

Hard to say, check all water parameters, watch the coral at night with a flash light and see if you have anything eating/bothering it. Acans thrive in low gentle flow and lower light. They enjoy meaty feedings at least once per week. Good luck!

thanks, to go along with this, my clove polyps have shrunk which was about 2 weeks ago, and none of my parameters could explain, at the same time this happened, a colony of zoas closed up, and basically disappeared.... now, its the acans withering... so something has been happening for the last 2 weeks, and the acans are the latest victims. what params. should I check? everything is normal and in fact the whole system has been pretty stable for the last 6 months...@@zburnreefing
