A block book or technique book. Seam tape, magnetic seam guide, embroidery scissors, epp hexi papers and 2 1/2" squares pack, glue pen, cotton thread and hand needles, bees wax, thimble, pressing tool. Some quilters call the seam ripper "Jack" the ripper. Some fancy jack's can have a fancy pressing tool to match. An upright thread cutter (speed). Some ladies have a round flower like one, they call ninja flower.
Quilt novels I love are the Elm Creek Quilt series by Jennifer Chiaverini, the Patchwork Mystery series from Guideposts publishing, and the Quilts of Love series by various authors.
Great list! I just got the GO! Cutter with the 8 inch qubes but I haven't made anything with it yet though. Any tips/tricks and ideas would be great. I appreciate all of your tutorials and videos 💟
Giving them an item that they have been hunting for (and the name and address of the source where you found it) is always a welcome gift. Don't count on Quilt Magazine subscriptions being delivered to your friend ,even after you pay for their subscription. Always let your friend know that you have bought them a subscription; and, ask them to inform you when their magazine subscription starts. If the magazine subscription does not start within three (3) months, report the magazine company to the Better Business Bureau (and inform your friends to avoid that Magazine Company). Some of these Companies also will not renew your subscription (you may receive two issues of each magazine until they waste all of your renewal-subscription money). I did not want two copies of each magazine.

Great ideas! Would love some info on the blue and orange batik bag behind you. The colors are gorgeous!
Thanks Lyn. I’m trying to think which batiks you’re talking about. I’ll have to go look in my sewing room 🤗
@@CreatewithClaudia looked blue and orange to me. Was on the table behind you. Looks like a bag with zipper across the top. 🙂
