Solid 4.5s in Cali. Guy in white could pass as 5.0. Definitely some 5.0 points in there but I guess it just depends on the area

These courts are tough to play on with the lights and background, we’ve had some 5.0’s from Cali and they struggled .

I just joined DUPR. Found some really high ratings of people I play with. Turns out at one point a 5.0ish instructor was accidentally added to a game and "lost" when he never played and so everyone in that local group is artificially inflated. DUPR was contacted and the erroneous match was deleted however the rating from that match is still there in the background somehow according to DUPR.
I guess these ratings could get screwed up but love the concept of DUPR.

Maybe 5.0 in the DUPR system that goes to 8. We're they actually DUPR calculated?

From reading DUPR's webpage the system goes to 8 but from 5.0 and below they expect the same ratings to stand as the classical system. They expect the extended range from 6.0 going to 8.0 to be only for pro player to have some additional range.
I am not sure how you wouldn't "stretch" everyone across that now wider range and get people at least a little higher than their historical rating.
