💯 saw them in DC 2019, Ft. Lauderdale in December. Will see them in Columbus on Tuesday. Best show ever.. And I have seen hundreds.

Had the privilege of seeing this band live, I highly recommend them to everyone the show itself is a spectacle to behold. They put an amazing amount of effort into it. The music itself was traditional Muse in that it was best experienced live. A blend of new and old that had the crowd on its feet, cheering, and chanting the lyrics. I would highly recommend people buy tickets to see this show its worth every dime.

Given Matt's previous fascination with conspiracy theories I think it's pretty safe to say which it is. I'm glad that there's no particular ones mentioned though because some of that crap en vogue today really is batshit crazy and it would be hard to listen to without cringing in that case.
I was not expecting something upbeat. Muse, as always, keeps subverting my expectations. No regrets buying tickets to see them live this summer ✊️✊️✊️

Watched Muse performing live at Kuala Lumpur last Saturday (29 Jul 2023). This was their opening song. The moment "Will of the People" played over the speaker, the crowd went wild! Still can't move on from its awesomeness.

I don’t care what critics say about this song. I’ve been to a Muse’s concert and if they need a song to vibe with the crowd, this is definitely one of those: simple riffs, banging drums, chanting lyrics, just endless jumping in the crowd and I love it. Granted it’s not one of those technically marvelous song, but a fun song to rock to
Edit: Now that the Will Of The People tour is over, this song is gonna get phased away and pretty much no one wants to see it live again for better suited songs, including myself. But my opinion about this song is unchanged, but it's the trend of any bands on a promotional tour of their new materials, so least performing songs won't be kept

And there's nothing more frustrating than listening to this garbage while not being young enough to not care about it's glaring faults. How can the writer of space dementia, micro cuts and citizen erased come up with a song this bad. This wouldn't even be a good song for justin bieber. You need to stop letting Matt go with a slap on the wrist. The video is good but the song is uninteresting and VERY repetitive. I don't think Matt even cares anymore. This is so overtly commercial that I think the soundtracks for the worse Adam Sandler movies feer more like art.

This song has an indescribable effect on me. It gets me in an energized mood in a way that no other song has ever achieved. I'm not really a Muse fan per say, but this song will definitely be in my playlist until the day I die.

Just saw the WOTP tour on Friday last week. This was the most amazing opening ever. I LOVED THIS FUCKING TRACK AND THE ENTIRE SHOW!
So now we have:
Won't Stand Down = Heavy Metal inspired with synth influences
Compliance = synth pop - dance type
Will of the People = Glam Rock, marilyn manson inspired.
I can see the diversity of the album. I wonder what is next. I am totally looking forward for this
well they have talked about a sort of Adele-like piano ballad and another big metal tune with prog influences (Kill of Be Killed)
To me, this meeting the requirements of a classic Muse album. Won't Stand Down was the heavy headbanger, Compliance was the electronic ballad, and this song is the one with a groovy riff. Now we just need the experimental epic and the soft rock tune.
they have said every song will be a different genre. like there's an adelle like song (ghosts i think), metal song (kill or be killed).

This is a mix of Uprising, New Kind of Kick, Panic Station and Supermassive Black Hole.
This will be a hit, I think most Muse fans will like this. It's very very fun and very very unique, not something Muse have made before, it doesn't sound like anything I've heard. Can't wait.

i have an idea for a real mind blowing opening. the will of the people chant comes up. matt dom and chris come on stage wearing those creepy masks from compliance. they take their places. they play will of the people. maybe one more and when it's time to yell hello to the town they are in "dom" stands up from the drums and rips his mask off showing it's really matt. them it shows dom was playing the bass and chris was playing guitar.

@@fabianmorales4104 soy fan de Muse desde el 98…pero independiente del gusto de cada uno (respetable al 100%), este último tema no alcanza ni de lejos al nivel que creo que poseen, que es superlativo. Les seguiré apoyando, pero para mi parecer han olvidado completamente lo que es hacer rock. Está muy bien investigar, pero a veces el resultado no tiene porque ser bueno.

Listening this for the first time.. just wow! first sight love. But the video itself its outstanding.. the perfect complement for this visual festival, in fact it does not sound the same if you listen the song alone... wow this band always amazes me. I love all their videos dark atmosphere Bravo Muse.

It's melodies and lyrics from other songs. There's nothing experimental about it. You're all just young and must not know the songs they're referencing.

Most people don't know CAD or animation that well. A lot of those are drafting terms as well.
Edit: dude rendering probably took a full month. Hahaha.
Simulating might take longer than rendering, if they´re working with UE4. I´m rather wondering about the wonky mocap-clean up the studio did. VFX veteran speaking.

I don't know much about Muse or their music, I've only heard Drones in the past but I feel like this album is a great introduction to them because it shows you all their different sides and versatility of this band and it's honestly amazing to see. Absolutely amazing album, so well done. When I heard this song for the first time, it really reminded me of early Green Day, more specifically American Idiot. I was scrolling through the comments and I can't believe that nobody mentioned it yet.

the simulation theory was weak... so much electronic and less rock.. muse is "time is runnin out" "hysteria" "bliss" "plugin baby", "dead inside" "reapers", "wont stand down".. more rock less eletronic

André Mascarenhas I agree, Simulation Theory was more like a „take a breath“. If Muse would only do music that they are supposed to do by their fans, they had probably not recorded that album. But they are truly themselves, composing by heart and not by expectation.

@@andreffmascarenhas Simulation Theory is my 3rd top album, followed by Showbiz (RIP Absolution which is great but too sad vibes for me...). BHaR and OoS 1st and 2nd switching places constantly.
So about ST: Break it to me, Algorithm, The Dark Side, Blockades, Pressure, Something Human (the acoustic version), Thought Contagion... So many good songs in it to call it weak.. I'm sure it will be appreciated more in the future.
Also remember how much hate BHaR recieved when it first came out, but how well it grew on us after a few years. ;)
