Dear Friends, thank you for these nice comments.... It is touching. Hard to answer all of them.... When this idea of playing together visited us the youtube was not even there:) So we could not expect to reach so many of you. There will be more with Baroque Guitar and Theorbo soon, check for the news and cds on luteduo.com. Truly yours, A&A
Absolutely beautiful performance. Thank you kindly for sharing your love for music and superb taste. I would love to see and hear you both do more Weiss or Bach. You are both wonderful musicians.💐🎼🎵🎶👏Bravo...Bravo.....😀
Whaaaa? The plant to the left of Ms. Kowalska's head is moving all the time! Several trees and grasses are moving throughout. They recorded in a studio, then they went outside and filmed themselves playing the same piece in the country. Then put they the studio sound with the country visual. Very nice too! And beautifully played.
Probably even more simply done than that. They recorded sound (that reverberation is not possible outdoors) and video simultaneously in studio against a blue or green background, then dubbed in the outdoor background. Many talk shows on community access stations are done the same way, the desk, backgrounds, windows, etc. are not actually present during recording but are dubbed in later. Although that one stalk of grass waving IN FRONT of Anton Birula is a neat trick to pull off, if this video was indeed not done outdoors. :)
I have seen concerts and heard recordings of some of the finest theorbists and guitarists around and Anton and Anna can hold their heads up among them all.
Calme, sérénité, joie intérieure, voilà ce qu'exprime à merveille ce duo magique, avec ce merveilleux équilibre entre la guitare baroque qui chante si bien, et le théorbe qui apaise tout et approfondit la musique
This duo and their beautiful music deserve great success in their career. Oh, and the nice thing about the theorbo is that you can also go fishing with it.
The dialog of the two instruments sounds very nice to this Viseè piece. And the ritornellos!! Nice surprise because I play it without these returns to the theme. It was pretty good, I'll taste play like that. I love your interpretations! Congrats!
Look closely and you will see many leaves trembling in a slight breeze, as well as a single grass stalk waving IN FRONT of Anton Birula, a neat trick of dubbing in the outdoor background visual to a studio audio and video recording likely done in front of a blue or green background.

Perfect pitch, perfect execution. I am delighted
The sound of lutes is always very soothing. To hear two at the same time, one with bass courses is indeed a treat.
What a sound!...incredible, as if a single "hybrid" instrument,

@@orgeronm No, this is not what they did. They are really outside.
Absolutely wonderful Anton and Ana! Gorgeous!
Very kind if you, Ed! Thanks!

Wonderful performance, great video.
Anna Kowalska je moc hezká a šikulka. Je to andílek.
This duo and their beautiful music deserve great success in their career. Oh, and the nice thing about the theorbo is that you can also go fishing with it.
Exquisite sense of touch and expression. Thanks.
Quanto è bella!! grazie!
It must be so lovely to play together like this. Transformative, I’d imagine.
Beautiful interpretation for these instruments! Bravo.
Bravo!! Que música maravilhosa.
Nice to hear some lute music with outdoor scenery!
So pleased from the bottom of my soul.^^ Thanks.
Robert de Visée sure knew how to compose to touch the soul.
Excelente!
Lovely arrangement and performance
so sweet... i love it!

💐💐💐💐💐
So good
Omagad, This is so nice, i wish i can play lute :(
Lets dream about beauty
exquisite as every time !!! thanks for this nice Chaconne (Agen ms isn'it ?)
Beautiful. What means ...in G ?
Are you only limited to playing songs of dead composers, or do you also write your own songs?
We might;)
Superb
Grazie. Adoro le vostre performances
Was this dubbed? Because the acoustics does not sound like it was recorded outdoors.
Vesela muzika koja popravlja raspoloženje
baroque guitar é semelhante a viola caipira brasileira modelo queluz, linda canção e belissima paisagem, parabéns
but i enjoyed to listen at your music as i told you; good contination
I think it's an electronic ambientation. Thy play in a studio, but the background is an electronic image: not a single leaf is trembling...
Not trembling?...lol,
Look closely and you will see many leaves trembling in a slight breeze, as well as a single grass stalk waving IN FRONT of Anton Birula, a neat trick of dubbing in the outdoor background visual to a studio audio and video recording likely done in front of a blue or green background.
Louis XIV vous eût félicités!
MINUNATE
Weather can change very, very quickly. I'd be terrified of instruments of this value being damaged by a sudden shower (however light)…
life happens, we only live once.
Very green screen.
Exactly! An all-green studio background.
