IMO, the R10 is the best bank for the buck :). I've used mine successfully for the past four years with zero issues. Too many people are having issues with the R500 and I just wouldn't tolerate that when meat on the table depends on reliability. I know I can always cound on my R10.

    Just ordered the r500

    Returned my r500 for a 29x.
The r500 is not ready to be sold to the public. Nocks on my ravin arrows repeatedly came off and I went through 2 sets of strings under 50 shots each, center serving was separating.

The bow shop I go to told me the best cross bow is the Mission because it is the one that he doesn't have to work on like all the others he should know he has been in business many years.

@joesphmarquardt8508 good, no issues after 2 seasons.
Heart shot two black bears at 20yrds, took a 60yrd shot on a buck and spined him.

I've got a question since Centerpoint is totally taken over Raven now since their Pass 5 years of when they purchased the company are all the Ravin crossbows all made in China like their Center Point crossbows that's what I'd like to know and I'd really like the truth and don't lie to me

I’ve had mine 5 years no issues. I get it maintained every 2 years. Most of blow ups are from people who don’t maintain them.

Ive had my Sryker for 5 years replaced string 1 time still shoots great and I shoot it all the time!! RAvins cranking device is horrible it might be better with brand new models I dont know anyone that buys them anymore because of the outrages price!!!@@brentkelley1491

I've had mine for about 5 years r10. One of the best ones I've ever had. Even if I don't need mine serviced I get new strings every 3 years. I've had ten point blowup in my face prob 3 or 3 times. Fingers crossed hasn't happened since
