@@aniskasman all the clips pull straight out. It's not like asian cars that have to be lifted up. You just brute force pull it straight out. I gripped the bottom corner that's visible and top of the panel and yanked it. Clips will probably break but that cheap and easy to fix when the door works
I even sorted out the the locking and opening by repairing the actuator not replacing it with a kit I ordered from the USA . Cost me 25 pounds rather than 300 pounds! In total..
@@arebrec The little motor went on it as it started smoking. Now that is why they previous owner changed the fuse rating from 15 to 20 to 25 as I found these in the glove box. I tested it outside the door smoking away that was the original problem then the car went into shutdown mode and drained the battery. The car has an electric steering lock which will not release. A red wheel on the dash comes up. I finally change for a new door actuator from China only 30 USD plus a touch shipping cost as cheap as repairing it. Finally took it to BMW and they could not get it to work so they said they have to change the steering column first and CAS immobilizer module maybe second and then it could even be the ECU quoted me 3,000 USD so I gave the car to a friend car repair man for free. 2006 and 7 suffers the steering lock problem. 320i
My passenger door latch rod got literally stuck in my passenger door.. 2006 325i . The inside latch mechanism cord is off as well. Can i manipulate any mechanisms like the one you pushed up ? Of course the passenger side mechanism is bigger but i put a torque wrench through the hole and push down i believe I haven't tried up yet.. Im sure it wont work but do u think i could push the door open simultaneously or would i need the inside door latch mechanism atatched ?
E90 06, 330i - Drive side door is not opening from inside or outside, how would you approach to fix it, Door is not unlocking / no response. Probably actuator. could you let me know, how would you fix ?
What if you can’t get to open the one in the drivers side front and door is locked can’t open it also where the bmw key goes in to unlock with key it broke
If my door locks but doesn’t unlock and only opens from the inside so you think it’s the actuator ? I can hear it trying to unlock when I press the key fob
BMW 3 series M sport 4 door 2 litre Petrol Failed lock can’t open from inside or outside after slammed closed ! Should be a recall on this ? Failed very bad fail😮
Had my driver door actuator changed. Now when i open the door with engine off all the windows open. And the fob doesnt lock the doors untill i open the boot with the fob. Then close and depress the lock button till the windows close. Weird. Has anyone come across this??
@@outsidewithdj I was wondering whether the latest locking system is fool proof. As in- would it be automatically unlocked if you leave the key in the car?
You might have a damage wire, or rod that mechanically opens and closes the door actuator. There is also a small chance that you received a defective actuator.
@@michaelpast19 if your other doors open and unlock, I highly doubt that it would be a fuse. One fuse will control all doors and possibly other functions of the car. So if it's only one door, I would look at that door only.

Hey I took that panel off without taking the seats out and I am not a pro..unclip it from under the right side of the panel with a curved metal edge.

How did you get the door open? I am working on my 2003 z4 and it doesn't want to open at all

You didn't show "HOW TO Open" the door you just cut the clip and suddenly the door is open

It would be a similar idea as the rear door. But unfortunately, I haven't done one for a front door.
How do you open the doors if the key was locked in the boot and all the doors are locked as well?

Sergey Pip do you know any fuses for the driver side door actuator for 2007 bmw 328i

Sergey Pip sorry about all the confusion i fixed the problem it was because i installed the cable for the door handle incorrectly smh 🤦♂️
