Absolutely love how you not only teach us these tips and tricks, but you also organize the video so when we hover over the "line" (sorry, don't know what it's technically called) we can see what topic is covered - WOW! How super organized is that!!!! Thank you Kevin Stratvert for giving us these tools!

    Kevin,
I really like how you explained things so clearly. I am a senior adult and can feel challenged trying to keep up with how to stay on top of my schedule as well as using "To Do" when I have not grown up in that generation. I am determined to learn. Thank you for doing this video.

Adding flagged emails to your tasks is really powerful. At first I did not like it and switched that feature off in settings. But I found it very inefficient to try and manually add the tasks in especially when I needed information in a specific email in order to do the task. So now I keep the feature on and I love that you can create subtasks within the flagged email task. Often the first step for me is simply "read this in detail" as I'll often get wall of text emails that take 10-15 minutes to fully read and understand.

Microsoft has really stepped up their game during Satya Nadella's time as CEO (from 2014-). The tools are becoming more powerful, connected and simple at the same time, and this has created A LOT of added value for me recently. Another amazing thing is this RUclips channel; an easy, fresh and friendly way to learn about Microsoft's tools. Thanks Kevin for that!
Microsoft is also doing very cool stuff on their hardware and software, instead of progressing in tiny increments like before. Very compelling stuff, creating value for the consumer first and to the shareholders second.

Video idea (or point me to the video if you have one already): Discuss Microsoft Planner vs Microsoft To Do: similarities, differences, when you might use one versus the other? Also do Planner and To Do sync with the Outlook Calendar (i.e., do they automatically place to do items on your calendar? (that would be super handy for me!!!) Thank you so much for your tutorials! they are an awesome way to get to know all the things available thru Microsoft Office! Who KNEW???!!! Thank you!

Great tutorial! I switched to To Do, from Wiunderlist. Everything is great, except... one very important feature that is missing is to showing the overdue in the doc on my Mac like the reminders. I suggested this feature numerous times. No change. Therefore I am using reminders, Mac, because I am never late. It shows how many are overdue. Even though there are reminders in To Do, I can still miss the payment, if I miss the reminder, which is very easy To Do, :o). If you can suggest this feature to your colleges at Microsoft, our community would appreciate it.

I keep too many things in my head, have things jotted down in multiple places. It becomes too much to the point that I become unproductive. It's time for change.

Seems like there are too many Microsoft apps for tasks and none seem to cleanly integrate into the Outlook calendar from what I've seen. They should simplify this and streamline To-Do, Tasks, Projects, etc. My challenge is trying to put our team tasks at work into one place and keep track of all the various due dates and who is completing them.

A helpful addition to would be more flexible custom reminders, e.g. every 1st Tuesday of the month or every other Friday (like in Outlook). Thank you so much for this videos as I learned a couple of new things. I was originally a Wunderbar user. One of the features I loved was that starred items would be listed under their respective tasks. Now it’s the reverse and not as helpful. I use it for grocery shopping on my phone and would organize things by store. It was so easy to see which stores I needed to go to because there are some items that I stared. Now it’s a jumbled mess, I can alphabetize the entire starred list, but the task is listed underneath. Please, since you work at Microsoft, ask the developers to bring this feature back, or make it as a sorting option. To clarify what I’m saying here’s an example. Stop & Shop is the task, under that I starred dish detergent, hand soap, yoghurt. Whole Foods is the task, organic chicken, milk, spinach are starred. What comes back when you select Important is, dish detergent (Stop & Shop) hand soap (Stop & Shop), milk (Whole Foods) organic chicken (Whole Foods) spinach (Whole Foods) yoghurt (Stop & Shop). Hope this makes sense. Hope you can help to bring this feature back. Thanks!

Tasks is my favourite MS product. I love to mark things on my plate as done. I am glad it is this simple and MS didn't try to complicate it. I use it daily for my own. This is an MVP of Trello which I use in org. The note function in its Mac app has some bugs though. And, in this video, I am seeing category and flag functionality for the first time;flag list is so cool! MS should integrate it better with Outlook and Teams. I see it on Outlook web but not on Mac OS. I read that MS is updating Outlook Mac app, hoping it will be good.

I have trouble using MToDo, for a reason I do not understand Wunderlist seemed easier to use, but maybe some power of habit. The planner i liked the most is called "Top Task List" and was available on Windows Phone. It lacked integration with calendar, but i liked the mobile app organization type. I guess everyone prefers different things, or it depends on what one gets used to. I will give M To Do another try after this video.
