They do go to the same destination, correct. The 43 has more passengers due to it being an express route (having fewer stops at least 1 km apart, only on major streets), which gets people places faster, instead of the 41 that has stops even for little streets. The 43 is to be replaced with a high-frequency 91 B-Line next year, and I'm excited for it!
@GordonFreemanD40 - I guess you didn't read the video description. Because he is referring to when the bus is slowing down starting at about 8:03 in the video.
Lane Transit District (Eugene, Oregon, United states) Just has the back of the bus lights on and the front lights completely off. So if you want to read a book you gotta sit in the back. The only time the front lights come on is when the door opens.
5:01 I miss those B Line announcements! 6:47
One more is at 5:42 Westminster Hwy
Is the 98 B line still here
@newflyer3000 what did the destination guy say at the beginning about the airport
"Next stop's Airport Station. If you're going to the Airport, Transfer for the 424 bus out of bay 5".
can sombody tell me why route 43 has more people then route 41??
there going to the same destination

When I was 1
because the canada line will be in service and it will replace the 98-bline
98 b-line is still strong although it will be gone in September 2009
I'm not talking about the whine from the axles, I'm talking about the whistling from the engine compartment.
Why is it gonna be gone at setember? I like this bus
it was replaced by the canada line for the olympics
How many of these are still in service with Series 50 engine? Im planning a trip to Canada for 2017
@talldude123 Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for the suggestion.
When I was in Vancouver, a lots of D40LF make the same noises, especially those on route 41 to Joyce Station
What bus is the whinning bus, how long has it been doing that and does it still make that noise? Hell, does anyone even know why it makes that noise?

from day to night!?!?
i miss the 98 b-line but i love the canada line
Cool! Honolulu has the same bus like this. Interior is different than this bus.
I love the 98 bline too I wish they keep it when the Canada line opens they will probably remove 488 490 491 492 and 496
how bout 407?
IIRC, that whistling sound comes off the MAN axles.
To cut down on the glare on the front windows for the driver.
lol i build a lego model of this bus but the hard part was the articulation pathway (the thing that covers the middle point)
I just used a hinge part to connect both parts of the bus and a round flat plate to cover the top of the hinge part
They will keep 407
