As someone who had a career in hospitality, first on cruise ships and later on in hotels, I've become quite appauled at the lack of upkeep in the number of 5 star establishments you've reviewed. Most surprising was the Hotel De Paris. My worst hotel experience was being booked into a room, that, only three weeks earlier had been a crime scene and the blood stain had clearly not been scrubbed out thoroughly. Regarding showing the toilet, personally I don’t see a problem with it, it’s part of the room. Only thing I’d say is I would close the lid before filming it. Also in regards to not filming because there’s celebrities around, they’re just people, honestly don’t worry about it. I have famous friends and work with lots of celebrities from small time to A list, they really won’t care unless you’re in their face. If they cared about their privacy they would choose a more discrete hotel/city. Just my 2 cents for what it’s worth :)

It may be a hotel guest privacy issue, if the celebrity was outside of the hotel it would be different to film them but privacy should be observed when inside the hotel like Tim was respectfully doing.

rest assured that is certainly not happening at a four seasons or any other major flag. mgmt lacks the skills needed to properly train, inspect, and adhere to standards
I’ve stayed in the Loews and in the Del Coronado and the whole area is just gorgeous. We were lucky though as there was three of us and trying to get back to LAX on a weekday morning would have taken literal hours if we hadn’t whizzed past in the 2+ lane! 😊
Really think Tim should try visiting some of the South-eastern states for food. If nothing else, at least you'll be well fed. ;D (hope you do a video about Georgia one day)
House Keeping doesn’t look up to scratch for sure. Crumbs filling the chair, bed sheets hanging down and opened bottle of water left there for the next guest. My biggest pet hate is fake plants and flowers. Tacky and cheap especially for the hotel and room. Ornaments would suffice if fresh flowers can’t be provided. Or they could keep the fresh flowers for the most expensive suites. I’d agree and say it’s not worth the price.
I agree. Plastic stems [that's what those abominations were] are tacky and should have no place in a hotel like that. Some other sort of appealing permanent decor would be much better if real flowers or plants can't be provided.

Loved seeing this hotel. Also enjoyed your window shopping tour of Rodeo Drive. And, yes, show the toilet in the bathrooms, otherwise I’ll worry there isn’t one 😂
The "service charge" is not a mandatory charge. It is a tip disguised as a service charge. Watch out for it at all types of restaurants. You can have it removed!🎉
I've always wanted to see inside The Beverly Wilshire (my namesake lol), thanks for the walkaround. It would be great for a weekend stay if you had the money, not for longer. Sad about the breakfast though.
Wow what another let down. I thought the state of that room was shocking by four season standards, and the prices of these USA hotels is absolutely shocking for what you get. However the city actually looks so nice and clean, which is a change for the US!
Two quick things about your breakfast. If you want crispy bacon, you have to specify that. As far as the hashbrowns you’re supposed to put ketchup on them. Everyone in America put ketchup on their hashbrowns.
That breakfast has to be the biggest crime i have seen in any of these videos 60USD for a basic toast eggs and hash you really did pay 99% of it for the location of that meal
I’ve always loved this hotel, I used to live not far from there and would walk by and dream of staying there someday. Never made it. I did have dinner in their fancy restaurant one time and have never forgotten it. Thanks for the tour.
Places that charge that much money should be giving you the white glove service. You found over 15 things wrong with room and while touring the hotel. For that money it should be zero. Next time go to McDonald's and get a steak bagel with hash brown and coffee for $10.00. $60.00 for breakfast is ridiculous. I don't care how rich you are; it should at least be good.
When I was in high school my dad had a business partner whose wife had a boutique on Rodeo Drive called Lina Lee. We used to go there quite often, and once stayed at the Beverly Wilshire. Lina wanted me to come work for her after I graduated, but even in the 80’s traffic from Orange County to L.A was horrendous or else I would have.

rest assured that is certainly not happening at a four seasons or any other major flag. mgmt lacks the skills needed to properly train, inspect, and adhere to standards
Love your videos, Tim. Don’t know how long you’re in the area, but if you get a chance, how about the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego?
thanks for the tip
I’ve stayed in the Loews and in the Del Coronado and the whole area is just gorgeous. We were lucky though as there was three of us and trying to get back to LAX on a weekday morning would have taken literal hours if we hadn’t whizzed past in the 2+ lane! 😊
Really think Tim should try visiting some of the South-eastern states for food. If nothing else, at least you'll be well fed. ;D (hope you do a video about Georgia one day)
Love your super fascinating + educational vids... giving me more + more confidence to travel ❤
Shocked at the quality there. Details matter in premium priced products!
Given the best hotel reviews from Tim, he deserves all the sponsorship he receives 😄 Also, we enjoyed the virtual experience of having such luxurious hotel hopping tho 🤣😄😄
I dunno what it is about your videos Tim, but I always enjoy them. You’re very consistent with your style of review, which makes it easier to compare, as a viewer. Thanks for sharing it all with us & cheers from New Zealand 🇳🇿.
Edit - re the toilet shots, I’m neither here nor there on them but if you choose to include them I’d always prefer the lid down 😊 I appreciate you asking for feedback!
Not worth the price at all!
I worked down the street many years and never went in. Thank you 🙏 🌻❤️🙏❤️🙏🌻
Thanks so so much to the person who gifted me a membership ❤ Love from Sweden ❤
Thank you for the honest review
Of course we want to see the bogs Tim! We’ve all got to spend time in them 😂👌🏼🚽 also the timing of that security guard was brilliant!
I’ve only been to San Francisco and it is crazy how night and day Beverly Hills is by how clean it is! Also no homeless…
You are a celebrity, Tim! Great video as always.
Nice video. Love how you tell us the prices of ur stay in each Hotels. Gosh that alot of money to stay one night in hotel. Thanks again Tim. ❤❤
That's Albert Van Luit foil wallpaper in the closet you liked so much Tim..😊
When you walked in I thought WATCH OUT DONT WALK INTO THE MIRROR!! Oh he see it I panicked for nothing....
Richard Gere would be getting straight on the phone to Hector Elizondo in reception 😂
So happy you are in our country ❤️.. I haven't watched the video ( I'm going to) I'm sure it will be great!!! A fan from Tennessee
four seasons has unfortunately become a shell of what it used to be. their standards have dropped significantly as has their management skills. the company is now managed by the most inexperienced incompetent people imaginable
Couldn't agree with you more. Have stayed at several four seasons over the years. Recently stayed at the four seasons on Amelia Island, and it was a great reminder that this company is not what it used to be.
Another interesting city and hotel for me to see. So pleased I found your videos. Hope to get to the UK one day. My husband is from Liverpool. We live in New Zealand. I’m a Kiwi. Thanks for your`entertaining videos.
I'm already a subscriber but if I wasn't I'd subscribe for the gifted shirt joke alone. It had me on the floor
Tim , You are THE very best hotel revuer in the whole world !!!! Even though young you are experienced and knowledgeable about everything ! Your voice and appearance are equally attractive !
ohhhh another LA trip.. silently praying for the chateau marmont
Yes!
@carolinefoster8675 I did stay there and was planning a video but unfortunately I was In bed the whole time with flu 😢 I was gutted
Tim was the only celebrity there for breakfast 🍳 🤩
Tim, you do such an excellent job of these videos. Keeping us glued till the end!
Glad you like them! thank you
People counting per shower room, I live for it.
Wow thankyou Tim for sharing your experience of this famous hotel the sunset views were amazing still looks incredible though ❤️😊👍🏻
Wow what another let down. I thought the state of that room was shocking by four season standards, and the prices of these USA hotels is absolutely shocking for what you get. However the city actually looks so nice and clean, which is a change for the US!
Your description to the fashion was hilarious!!!
You really read that book how you saw it ‘bare necklace’ 😂 no tim it was PEARL necklace
i was jet lagged ;-)
Yes that breakfast wasn't worth the money at all, i would have politely sent it back. Looked a nice room you had, the sunset was amazing 😮
Brilliant video Tim, I agree the hallways were spooky like
Two quick things about your breakfast. If you want crispy bacon, you have to specify that. As far as the hashbrowns you’re supposed to put ketchup on them. Everyone in America put ketchup on their hashbrowns.
I don't put ketchup on hash browns and I don't know anyone who does. You can't generalize like that.
That breakfast has to be the biggest crime i have seen in any of these videos 60USD for a basic toast eggs and hash you really did pay 99% of it for the location of that meal
The tourists are the only people sitting buying breakfast there, go where the locals go for a decent breakfast.
@@charm8167 Maybe, but you could say that about any hotel (that it's for tourists). A great hotel should offer a great breakfast.
I’ve always loved this hotel, I used to live not far from there and would walk by and dream of staying there someday. Never made it. I did have dinner in their fancy restaurant one time and have never forgotten it. Thanks for the tour.
Thanks for watching steve
Great video and of course we want to see the room 🚽
I suggest mixing red Tabasco and Ketchup together to give flavorless hash browns some flavor.
Mmmm McDonald's steak and egg bagels are SO GOOOOOD. I'm glad they've brought the steak back - it disappeared for a long time.
Absolutely. He should have made a complaint. They need to know what their customers think. After seeing this, I certainly wouldn't stay there.
I’m sure Lina Lee boutique was mentioned in the Jackie Collins novels! I thought it was a made up shop that the Hollywood Wives used!
@@dontpanic3411 she had several boutiques, I believe she had one in New York. 🙂
I love the way Tim says “let’s go check it out come on” on every video, even though he didn’t really go anywhere
Where do you expect him to go, he does check out the hotel.
