Join me and the team as we travel around south west Scotland trimming cows feet to make them as comfortable as they can possibly be - watch our satisfying videos of hoof trimmers, not veterinarians, in action.
Something that would improve the channel as a whole would be to tag the cow # in the video title, that way if we wanted to we can go back and follow a cow's improvement from the beginning, as it is now it is incredibly difficult to find the 'continuation' of a cows treatment
That's a great idea. Graeme?
I was thinking same thing . I like to see the cows journey so the number would make it much easier.
Great idea, but he already does alot, edits videos, works exceptionally hard, raising kids and fur babies….i think we can give him some grace and enjoy what he gives us.
This is one of the best channels on RUclips
Correction this is the best channel on RUclips 😂
I don't even like doing jobs like this, but he makes it so interesting to watch. I saw one episode that popped up on my feed on day and have been hooked ever since.
It’s the accent. I’d listen to him read a phone book.
@@6evil6dead64 for me, it's his accent but also the knowledge
Ikr I got nothing to do with cows but I'm drawn to it..
I tell you one thing, i wish my nail tech was as cautious and gentle as you are with these cows😊
😂😂😂
Get a new nail tech. Mine is as cautious and gentle as Graham is, and my nails stay on even though I work as a horse trainer full-time.
Tech?
@Richard Cranium ohhh, like a waste technician? Or a toilet tech? Or perhaps a roadkill specialist and shovel tech. Like those?
You might need to check your own hygiene if your nail is breaking out a Milwaukee angle grinder on your big toe nail.
regarding holding your breath: when learning traditional calligraphy, I was taught to hold my breath and strategically breathe in between strokes while writing. When you're doing such precision work, the motion of even just your chest expanding and contracting can make a big difference. It's a real testament to how careful and precise your trims are :)
I do the same thing in my physics lab job when I'm working under the microscope!
My 4 year old daughter and I have some daughter/daddy time watching your videos. She absolutely loves them.
Great trim. I like when you don't talk sometimes. I just like hearing the knife cut through and just pay attention to the cut.
She looks very good! ❤
ASMR hoof trimming 🙂
Yes. Listening to him work is very interesting.
Loved the filming without music. Just the sounds of your comments, your tools, and the farm. Also, the sped-up section was great! 👍 These cows are so fortunate to have you. Thank you on their behalf. 🐄 🤗
🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄
Nice job mate! Didn't get the first vids of this cow, bout wow what a improvement! 👌👍cheers from canada!
It sure does look so much better.I sure am glad too. It is good that you were there to treat her foot.
@@spawnosaur9601 Don't spread false info.
Ooooh yer takin tha pith. Love the videos! You show so much care and concern for them.
Just so you are not alone. I was holding my breath too.
Great to see her healing.
I think most of us hold our breath while he's trimming a bad foot.
Especially when he stops talking because that's when you know it's crunch time. Is it going to be okay? Or not okay.
The great thing about the trims and treatment you give to the cows is that you do follow up posts. This is brilliant as we can follow the changes with the cows feet. Also that you do show us exactly what you are doing and explain the why and how so we can follow you. Thanks Graeme
Ehgad I’m recognizing the cows by their hooves lol. I’m so addicted to this channel. I never knew I get so excited over cows feet.
Just seeing it open WITHOUT all that inflammation, is FANTASTIC
Agreed! No redness…beautiful evidence of healing!🐄❤️
The improvement in this cows hoof is great!
I loved the little what looked like an "ooh that's nice" when Graeme gave her that little embrace haha
Started watching a few month back and have been binging these videos non stop. So satisfying in a weird way.
Enjoyed the gentle commentary today. Informative and entertaining.
Go 447!
Hello Graeme. Her recovery is going fantastic with your help. Keep doing the good work that you love doing.👋👋👋👏👏👏👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😊😊😊
Good to see her healing so well. She has such a sweet face.😊
🤗
The more I watch your videos, the more I'm impressed by the incredible sharpness of the knives you use. I know I would have lost a few fingers if I tried it with those knives.
That final before and after shows how hoof horn actually grows from the corium. Very interesting view.
I'm glad to see she (Cow 447) is doing so much better! Fantastic job!
Prayers for Cow 447.
I’m glad to see improvement, but I know, pragmatically, there’s still a long road to recovery. Especially when it comes to getting the hoof back to practical length. I also pray that the outer hoof, with the Block, can avoid major trouble during this healing process. Otherwise, it’s going to an even rougher road to recovery.
Thank you for Hoof Trimmers like Graeme, for helping Cows across his homeland, live a pain free life!
Mmmm pray, the ultimate do nothing but act like you are action.
@@Tiralful that’s not how one should act.
@@Tiralful Some people take great comfort in it, how is that bad thing? You don't and that's ok but no need to knock those that do
After my surgery for bladder cancer, my Dr and I were catching each other on the progress. I said I had a LOT of people praying for me so was not too surprised at the outcome. His response was to never under estimate the power of prayer.
So, to you I say that while it may not be something in which you believe, leave alone for those who have faith in it.
You need not follow it, but it is VERY RUDE to insult someone's belief system.
@@Tiralful
"Mmmm pray, the ultimate do nothing but act like you are action."
No! The ultimate do nothing are people like you who do nothing and do not care. The ultimate do nothing who only criticizes and condemns those who do.
OUCH!!! Thank God for these cows having you looking after them. Thanks Graeme.
I am glad you do updates. I hope you do another one on the Cow with fingers
It’s so good to see cow 447 doing well, she has come a long way, thanks to you and your finesse with the knife! Holding your breath is a testament to how focused you are on preventing any slip that might cause further injury, you try so hard to be steady! She’s such a pretty cow, thanks for giving her a cuddle too!💕🇨🇦
It’s good that you show the side view sometimes, because it’s difficult to see or know just how far into the hoof you are actually going. Good work.
Kudos! To you for showing the tough cases. I know ppl can be nasty & critical of things they have no experience with. It shows your great patience and love for those animals.
Well done . Informative 👍👍👍. Thank you for sharing. Be safe🇨🇦
Hello from Sweden, Graeme! Long time subscriber and viewer, not much of a commenting chatter however. Just wanted to say though, that while hoof trimming is interesting to me, the main reason I keep watching your channel after several (I think 2-3 years now) years, is your love for these animals. As an animal lover myself, it really resonates with me
Your comment to Graeme speaks for many of us. Thank you so much.
👋🏻😊🇺🇸
Her progress makes me so happy! Go Hoof GP Go!!!!
I love getting to see videos that follow the progression from lame to healed... I was kinda nervous about this one but it turned out so much better.. I'm always thankful for the comparisons from trim to trim... you can truly appreciate the work 💖💖💖💖💖💖
Thank you for the video Knoxville TN you and your crew family do an amazing job thank you 💯
Thank you for the update on 447. 🙏💜
Poor thing, Here's hoping for a speedy recovery!
Thank you Graham... what a joy to experience your work...
I think I love these videos so much is because of my own foot pain issues. Thank you for sharing your videos!
What a fantastic achievement. Well done 👍😮😮
Absolutely awesome work you do for the cows, i know nothing about Hoof trimming but i love watching you do your thing to help the Cows 👏👏👏👍
I really look forward to your videos Graham, number 1 channel on RUclips .
Wow her hoof is looking so much better than before. She is definitely on the road to recovery.
It looks a lot better than before I love it when the cow hoof is healing so much thank you for helping her feel better with every day life
I always catch myself getting emotional when I watch one like this where there's been such a great improvement!❤❤
Me too.
Me three.
That looks so much better..... a testament to your skill and passion to help.
GP you are definitely a compassionate man with respect and feelings for animals, it’s amazing how you work, so concentrated with heart and soul , God bless people like you ❤
Keep up the good work. You are helping for sure. Great channel to. One day I’m gonna make it to your part of the world. It’s beautiful
Glad to see this poor girl back in your care, shes come a long way.
Whos the sassy lady in the background mooing up a storm? Shes got her knickers in a bunch
I'm glad the outer claw didn't have an issue. Would have only slowed down the healing process. I never miss your videos. Keep up the great work!
I have my Kirsty the cow
She is absolutely gorgeous
I love your videos
What beautiful improvement ❤ for that Girl! You've helped her so much 🐄 ❤! Love your channel so much💗
Great work. I love the before and after details.
Especially when you blend it with your commentary over the series.
I bet it’s hard to edit but your effort pays off
Well done.
I was holding my breath as well..😂 What a great job. Thanks for sharing..❤
Listening to you coach yourself in the delicate work it’s really awesome and makes me feel less weird for doing the same
By the way, my mamita is hooked on watching your videos now. I got home from work yesterday and she was like lets watch the cows lol She thinks you are so handsome! You've got an admirer over here in California 😁
I really enjoy the check ins and updates you post. glad shes closer to getting fully healed.
Bless her. Glad she’s doing well.
Does anyone know what happened to cow 2500? Her hoof was in a right state 😞
Love this channel.
Great job Graeme! Delicate hoof shaving with paper thin cuts. You are an artist! Looking forward to seeing the next two trims of cow 447's left inner hoof.
Your videos actually helping me with my university studies is agricultural science. my master courses are very much theoretically and just a few and short practical lessons are in the stables or on a living animal. But also thanks to your videos I know what to look for when examining a cow, herd and stable. Thank you very much. You're doing an amazing job! Maybe you should work together with schools or universities for teaching videos! I think you are a great teacher and you're able to explain very well. English is my second language and I have no problem to follow your videos and understand your explanations.
Graeme, I find myself holding my breath watching you! So glad this lovely lady is on the mend x
Brilliant content. 💯
You truly are an inspiration, I work with a heard of about 100 cows who are on pasture most of the year and I started putting more emphasis on having more routine check on our cows hooves. I feel that it's making a difference for their comfort so far.
I love it! At 3:51 the lyrical quality of Graame's voice comes out and you get lost in it. Then you rewind and listen to figure out what he was saying. So beautiful and calming!
Wow! What a difference! It may seem like it takes forever for hoof growth but to me it seems pretty quick. And the healing process of such a huge defect is pretty amazing to see. Damn, you’re good at your job!🐄❤️🐄
I sure am glad you are there to help those critters, Graeme.
Love your videos and follow ups on the girls ❤
Her recovery is going fantastic
It’s pretty great seeing a cow almost recovered. What happened to the cow with keratin “fingers”?
It may be taking a long time, Graeme and she may have a ways to go but at least she is out of pain and a much happier girl, on the mend. Good job as always Graeme. You fairly know your stuff xxx 😊😊😊
Looks like Cow 447 has become a fan also! (She sure enjoyed that chin rub!) 💕
You do some amazing healing work for those cows. I wonder if they recognise you.
Peace
Well done. Looking like another satisfied customer. ❤🐄❤
Thank you for the update!! Love watching and listening to you work! I think we sometimes hold our breath along with you!! And thank you for the WONDERFUL musical intro!! I love it!! Keep up the good work!! All of y’all!!
I do hold my breath! lol!
The cow faces are beautifully videoed by y’all! Good job! And the cows have become more and more beautiful as time goes on and Ibwatch more and more of your videos! 🥰
Nice haircut Graeme….Looking good….love how gentle you are to the cows, thank you and bless you and the Hoof GP family.😊
I have a question! Some time ago, the ice-cream bull's hooves had over-worn from running about on concrete while chatting up the cows. Would putting blocks on them help or would it mean his hooves couldn't 'breathe'? Thanks for a fascinating channel. I've always had a soft spot for cattle.
Excellent trim and she is looking much better. I’m sure she’s glad you take such loving care of her!
A new installment. Thank you!!
Im so happy to see her doing so much better. I know she appreciates you!
I love the intro is back. Your videos are something I look forward to watching. Thank you. Have a wonderful day!
Another great one fantastic job there graham 👏👏
Such an interesting video! I hope cow 447 keeps healing and can’t wait for next video to see her progress.
So satisfying seeing the hoof heal over these weeks. Great job GP!😊
Heart and soul shown in the quality of your work!
I love it!
Hello Graeme. Good to see you and I hope that you and your family are awesome
You werent alone holding your breath!
3 or 4 years into watching you. You still calm me down when panic attacks happen! God Bless you and your family ❤️ the care you show for these cows is heartwarming.
You were holding your breath and I was too!! 4 years ago I new nothing about a cows hoof, now I’m watching with fascination! Just love it !! 😀🐮
During my work i came across this clip. Never heard about the Huf GP before, I have to say its refreshing. This is very Entertaining and informative. Why arent more channels like this, An absolut amazing guy you listen to for 1 min and fall in love with his channel. Well done Thank you!
Great to see this wee coo well on her to recovery, thanks for helping her. X
Seeing these really difficult cases from beginning to end is amazing cheers mate
Such a relief to see her foot looking so much better than it was! Fingers crossed her recovery keeps up!
Thank you ❤ 447 is so much better now😊
I’ve been sick in bed for the past few days and these videos are all I’ve been watching. Hoof GP is the block to my heart, uplifting me and making this time a little more (a lot more) comfortable.
Love this and love you. Hope anyone reading this has a wonderful rest of their day
You have the most pleasant soothing voice I've ever heard. You are my night time wind down video. I have no experience with cows at all, but love the way that you love and treat them.
Oh, she's coming right along! It's such a joy to see a cow respond so well to treatment!
Another fantastic video from Graeme !❤😊thank you from Texas
Great save on that hoof. Well done.
Just wanted to randomly say.. after following your channel for awhile now, I almost feel like an expert from all the knowledge and work you share lol. I watched another guy on RUclips trimming cow hoofs and it wasn't the same. I'm glad I know what a cows hoof should look like. Keep it up!
So interesting seeing this video tonight, unfortunately my pony is going through an acute bout of laminitis the past day. So between working with the vet and researching so much on laminae corium in horses, it's so interesting to see the difference between cows. Obviously in horses you can't see what's going on like you can here. Hopefully between the vet and our farrier we can get my girl back on track like this big momma ❤️
Damn, G, I find myself holding my breath while you're trimming too, leaning in to get a better look and commenting and cheering you on as you go. I have to say when you trimmed 447 the first time I really had my doubts that she could heal up and I am so pleased that I was wrong. I teach high school history for my day job but once my work day is over I come home to check in to see what you're up to with "our" cows. Know that in far away Milwaukee you've got a fan who appreciates these videos. Best to Mrs. GP and the fam.
Graeme,
Without someone like you to help those cows, they would most likely have their lives end early at the dog food plant. Thank you for what you do.
Great job Graeme, what a difference. I know, if she could, cow 447 would give you a big slobbery kiss for helping her, she must be feeling so much better. ❤
