I own this chair and the rear wheels only got hung up one time on my test drive in the demo chair. I have had the chair for a hair over 7 months and other than having bum generic batteries (which were replaced with a set of MK's). it has been great!
My qm710 was delivered 6/22/18. A few seating adjustments were made and before the Vendor owner left he mentioned the batteries should be charged fully that night...he had not bothered doing so before delivery (MK GRP 24'S). Ken added it would take 3-4 charging cycles before the chair would charge fully. The new R-Net joystick, he was not familiar with and left NO INSTRUCTION. The next couple of days were short distances - it was in the owners manual a full charge would be 6-12 days. Day 10, my wife got in my Permobil. we went 5.2 miles with the lights on (Phoenix Valley). The chair, in 5th gear going 6 mph stopped abruptly. A code flashed and a note was taken, hmm. I called Tech support and the man said, the chairs are programmed that way...if the joystick is held 'straight-ahead for 90-180 seconds, that's a normal occurrence. More adjustments, including disabling the sudden-stop feature (?) will be made in the coming days. Otherwise, I feel I'm in a very solid, quality, powerchair. It's everything I'd hoped for; power everything w elevator. Another review in a month or two.
Ho. Is this chair available in Europe? Does it have attendant control? How does it cope going up and down kerbs?, also on cobbles and different ground surfaces? I have a Jay J3 seating system which I hope is compatible. I have too many questions to fit into a comment! :) cool chair
I have this wheelchair. Don't buy it! Had and sill have electronic problems since day one. Rear wheel's get caught on everything. It's been nothing but a headache !
