Mine is a serious lemon. There are issues with the power articulating legrest design, the electronics tend to go faulty and every repair is minimum 1400+ a pop. And mine tends to rock forward when I start up while trying to cross the street - even on a curb cut with a minimal incline the chair rocks forward at the bottom of the curb cut.
I have the newer model of Quantum 6000Z that was purchased in APR of 2015. As of AUG 2019 I was told that PRIDE no longer makes the motor mounts and the motors for my chair. Does this mean that the Quantum 6000Z is no longer available? What is the newer model?
its rocking because your front casters are too close to center wheels plain and simple. front casters should be adjustable to center gravity for each user preference
If you have been building these long enough you certainly should have a good cross-section study of driving conditions and have a chart of some kind on hourly usage for different areas of operation..user operational choice is piss poor answer...if you didn’t do a study do one so a potential buyer could have a good idea before laying that amount of money down!
It's very similar to the Invacare TDX SR. Trying to figure out the difference. I have a TDX SP and need a new one. Might just depend on what Medicare will pay for. I don't know anyone with a Pride chair.
NvikIngsN I had a tdx for 8 years and went to a q6 edge...after programming the chair seems good sofar.....ive had it over a month.....its a differnt beast and will require adjusting but sofar I like it
@@faranhotel8722 Have you found any solution? Could the issue possibly be caused by your center of gravity being off balance? Does your chair have a lift or tilt feature?
Hola buenos días me podrías a ser el favor de enseñarme en un vídeo como quitar la tapa de donde van cubiertas las baterías la parte de atrás y como volverla a colocar mil gracias
Sandra, i agree completely, i've always had invacare, i'm a lost quadriplegic, what's with the back wheels to make driving easier? 4 more years to go, sigh
What impresses me is the degree of engineering that goes into every Pride Quantum. I hope to get approved by Medicare for a Q6 edge.
I Have A Permobile 300 &
I Was Wondering If I Could
Add A Lighting Package On It.

I really love my 6000z, great ridesuper handling just want to go faster lol.
HOW MUCH DOES THE 6000 COST?
As the saying goes, 'If you have to ask you can't afford it.' Quantum products are very expensive. They are the Rolls Royce of powered wheelchairs.
Quantum is a piece of sh÷+× (like Zoe said). Mine gets stuck whenever I lean it back.
