YES PLEASE! more dump digging! I was born and raised in Tempe - a suburb of Sydney, NSW, Australia. Tempe was 'THE' major dump for the whole of Sydney City from the beginning of it's establishment as a Colony in the late 1700's. My siblings and I spent a lot of time rummaging around on the Dump - and loving it!
Aqua! Funny you just posted this! The previous week I was in Canada fishing our "secret fishing lake" for Lake trout, and I brought my metal detector just for fun (and to check an item off my List (I have now OFFICIALLY prospected in Canada!!). I hit a few islands and a sandy area that people use sometimes as a beach. Found a Canadian coin, old broken bottles, and some old cans. Can't wait to do it again! Love your channel!!
AWESOME !!!!! Love digging bottles. My husband and I dig and creek walk in the winter months when were not out metal detecting. Wish we had a way to send you some pics of our finds . Keep up the great work Beau you always do a great job. Also Mrs Maureen Spoke highly of you the other day. We had to send one of our machines in to be repaired.
Really sweet site to dig. When I lived in Lake of the Woods, (88' to 95 or so) there was a trench that went from where the Goldmine club was to well past our property, and I found a ton of bullets, buttons, and bottles. I'm a glassware/bottle junky, and to see this, is just amazing. Looks like I'm gonna have to get back into hunting. Up here in NY, I won't find hardly any Civil War stuff, but tons of Colonial relics to find. Seeing all of your videos again, makes me miss the area.
It amazes me that we have not been on this continent very long but have managed to trash the fields and mountains and junk up the creeks and rivers in about the last 200 years.
It's sad all the dumping through out US and Canada. I remember visiting family in Kentucky and remember seeing the dumpsites with all kinds of things thrown away. I enjoy watching your videos stay safe! Thanks for sharing!
When I was a a very young girl, my grand mother would take my sister and I to the dump to look for bottles. I always thought it was such a magical place! This video reminded me of some really nice memories, thanks for that!
The most useful dump digging tool I've used is simply a strong stick about half and inch thick that's sharpened at one end. You can easily break through all that loose dirt and won't scratch any bottles.
That looks like a place you could spend a few days at and still it would be tough to walk away. Never know what is going to be uncovered next. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure. Be safe.
Hey Shawn, was just watching this video and noticed your comment. Aquachigger is digging in the pit that we made. This is where I do a lot of my bottle digging and where the Macdonald bottles came from.
...brought back a lot of memories of my childhood digging bottle dumps along the Niagara River...now I am an archaeologist, I do it for a living, but I long for the days on my bike with my buddy and cousin, packsack and folding shovel, exploring the Ontario countryside for dumps
My parents live next to an old town dump here in wisconsin and as a kid i dug up over 100 bottles. Many were medicine bottles because a doctor lived next door. You get to wisconsin, you have a place to dig. Ive been meaning to dig back there again but haven't. My parents still live there and would allow it. So maybe a wisconsin trip is in mind. Best bottle i found was a 1906 milk of magnesia bottle from Connecticut
Beau, there are these big forks, that are used for carving roasts, turkey, etc. If you happen upon an older one at a yard sale, second hand store, your Mom's kitchen, grab it, throw it in with the diggin' supplies. It's fantastic for diggin' bottles because the base is wide and the tines are widely spaced. : )
Awesome Beau. My great uncle Johnny was a bottle collector in northern Montana and the large green one with the vertical lines would have sent him over the edge. Not sure what it is but I will look through his collection to see if we find anything similar. Keep'um cumin'.
You were right about the big green bottle. It is a what they called a Gin Case bottle and there are several different sizes and colors, I lived 2 hours north west of Toronto and we dug bottles there about 45 yrs ago and I have some of the gin bottles, I also have an old baby feeder called Excelsior Feeder which is almost oval with a flat back side so it would sit beside a crib. Looks like you are onto a good site.
hi Aquachigger nice finds love findin old bottles to .well as hunting .look you didnt want go or stop as you was in joying finding them .best wish looking forword to your next vid
Wow, you have found some really great bottles, very different from here at home. Love the long necks and beautiful colors. Love the hunt of it all !!!!!!
HEY BEAU!!! I dig bottles and detect too, one of my go to tools is either an old 1'' chisel or 1.25'' drill spade bit with the handle broken off and a "T" welded to the end.... Great for getting around those pesky "tight" bottles or compacted earth... Just a quick stab and a turn will loosen the most stubborn debris around almost every item!
Nice bottle digging finds Aquachigger. That is a cobalt screw top ink and that is a Gin bottle you pulled out after. Without damage they are worth a lot more. My son Lewis and I dig bottles here in our town in MASS in the USA. Glad to see you dug bottles on here again and looking forward to seeing more of your videos, HAPPY HUNTING!
Nice finds, Beau! That gin's a beauty. Might be an English import. The Davis is a fun bottle-that little recessed panel is distinctive. I've dug 'em in Pa. The elixir contained opiates & alcohol, so it probably worked pretty well. lol.
Great hunt Beau over here in Britain bottle that have thin lines down them are poison bottles the lines helping blind people to tell them not to drink the contents GL&HH Simon
I really liked all the bottle trees they were pretty. TRAIN!!! Good bottle dump. You got some beautiful bottles. For sure teacher Beau tell us about the "snake oil" meaning.
Personal issues I guess. Not everyone is happy with themselves. It is too bad they are bullies to make themselves happy. I would like to invite you to check out my latest interview (Part 1 with The Chigg himself) on my youtube channel: ruclips.net/video/8sABjFdrdhs/видео.html
My bottle dig didn't go so well lol. Got about 25 good bottles out of it though. A majority of the stuff we dug up was damaged by the backhoe. It started out we had to remove a tree in our orchard for a foundation, under that tree were lots of large rocks, so those had to go. Under the rocks we found all kinds of bottles, pottery, bricks, etc. I think the most valuable thing I found was a model A or tractor jack from 1914. If we didn't keep using the backhoe I would have had some china and a moonshine jug.
I freaked when I saw that big beautiful green bottle. Dude I'm kinda new to your channel but I love the adventures you take us on you gotta go back to this site and continue where you left off 👍👍👍👍
When he said 'weird Canadian chicken', it reminded me about his references to 'Bubbles' and his 'samaquantch'. And I'll be damned if he didn't say it and make me laugh and snort rootbeer out my nose.
yes Cobalt, that's where I live from May until Oct every year. Just saw this video for first time tonight and noticed a few familiar names in the comments. Hopefully he gets back up this year, if the restrictions get eased up that is.The pit with the latter and horseshoes in the trees is the pit we made. In his next video he mentions Joey the bottle king, that's my digging partner.
@@depthspader8820 ~ that’s so cool. Small world. They’re cool I’m digging in France 🇫🇷 I found a place where rich people threw all kinds of things... mid 20th century bottles, silver forks, knives, liquor bottles... a lot of good FREE stuff
As a kid I dug up a huge bottle in my godfather's garden- their house was an old farm house. He said it was a Winchester- two quarts- it was really old- the top of the neck was gone but it was one of my treasures. When we moved home, the bottle did not make the journey- my dad must have chucked it.
Bottle dumps are cool, I found one about a year ago and it was fun. Didn't find anything super exciting but it sure was a neat and unique experience. I also found some horseshoes to and some beautiful milk glass

Love the old bottles, keep them in the sun the bluer they turn. Reminds me of my dad. We use to go exploring old homesteads, and dumps.
Two trailer park boys references... 😆

Maybe one day you could do a video of your bottle collection, interesting history. Thanks for another great video.
When we bottle hunt the old dump we take everything we find, get em home wash them keep what we like and recycle the rest.
When I was excavating for a renovation I found an awesome ginger extract bottle from the 1800's with the paper label intact! One of my favorite finds.
