    Man it was such an honor to play against a legend. Back-to-back titles omg that's freaking awesome forreal!!! TH126 man i didn't not expect to get that far. I was still in complete shock haha. @graslu00 thank you so much again for giving me the opportunity to play against you. I wish i could shake your hand my friend. I hope Grim can participate in the next one :)

    Legend of old verses the legend of new, really liked this pairing. I had a feeling the winner of the Robbie/Aries series was going to make a run all the way to final. Proud of Robbie for doing that again after 14 years. Congrats on back-to-back titles! Capped off another great tourney. Grateful to still be playing GE multi with you guys in 2024

    This has got to be the most intense final in any GoldenEye tournament. This Tournament was waaay more inense than last year. Congratulations to you Graslu00 for winning Robbie for runner up and Skedar for third place. Also thank you to everyone who played and still making GoldenEye multiplayer an alive thing. Would cool to see some GoldenEye Source Tournaments.

      I disagree, no disrespect to Robbie obviously but last year's final against Grim was crazy and we got to play all the five maps. Robbie's play style is similar to mine so it was more compatible for fasted paced games.

      @@Graslu00 Yeah you have got a point there, This year just overall had more intense games a lot of tie ups and a lot of 9 kills to each player and it depends on who got that last kill to advance. I got knocked out by Skedar he ultimately hammered me in Bunker but that Caverns match was insane.

    Was looking out for this video now for a while, I don't know Robbie but semifinal was more tense.
    You can see a master when he controls the environment around him, barrels, lights etc and how to manipulate a fight to regain the high ground.
    A sincere and well deserved Tournament Victory, a passionate gamer who creates and shares his love for others to enjoy.
    Enjoy your victory and temporary rest from the PP7!
    All Hail GRASLUU00!!!
    Best Wishes from Ireland! 🎉

      Robbie's a veteran netplay player, won the first LTK tournament - the semifinals were indeed more intense because our play styles clashed and had to adapt differently. Robbie shares a similar aggressive play style as I do, so that's why our games were more faster paced but still with some close scores. He's really good playing around the doors and barrels / crates!

    GG's congrats on the victory, sry to hear about all the reuploads from tik tok and such. Many years ago when I did make some youtube content I did a lets play of Startropics on NES and the hidden area music was used by some music artist as the back audio for a remix and I got copyright claimed and refuted it and got hit again. I didn't know much about the system but even reached out to the actual composer who told me unfortunately there was nothing he could do. I don't do any of that stuff now as my job kind of took precedent but danm did it piss me off. I was just doing it for fun. I hope you find some ground with that. looking forward to more uploads so I can listen to some GE or PD music and action while I do dishes or eat dinner. Always love your content brother! You single handedly refueled my interest back into GE-PD learning more about the emu builds and such. I now get together with friends who also enjoyed it and we play GE remaster and see how fast we can beat it on PA with Mouse injection. Also... I wish Agent 64: Spies Never Die would come out soon... I've played the demo way too much.

    • @Graslu00
      @Graslu00  6 месяцев назад

      Thank you! The TikTok / Facebook reuploads are just an annoyance, I always get them dealt with but it's a constant thing to be on the lookout. Fake copyright claims are also very common but I've found many ways to combat them and make sure they never reappear. RUclips has a huge problem with that which I doubt they'll ever properly address. I hope to get back to my normal schedule soon! Been distracted with other gaming and just taking a break in general. Glad to see my content inspired you to get back to these classics!

    Sometimes you guys should have a tournament without the radar

    • @Graslu00
      @Graslu00  6 месяцев назад +3

      The radar is essential. You can still see the opponent's screen any way. GoldenEye has no directional audio, no footsteps, and no sounds to guide the players on where to go so it'd turn it into a camping fest with no goal, if we were to also block our views of the other screens.

    no me sorprende que le hayas ganado a ese Random XD

    • @Graslu00
      @Graslu00  6 месяцев назад +3

      No es un random. Robbie es uno de los jugadores más veteranos de GoldenEye online, jugando en Kaillera desde hace más de 15 años. Fue el primer campeón en la primera edición de la competición LTK, y uno o el mejor jugador en el esquema de control 1.1, todo esto y es por igual uno de los jugadores más respetuosos que he conocido. Cualquier oponente puede parecer un random cuando se hacen buenas partidas, él igual me ha ganado muchas veces en prácticas.

    Robbie threw his lead. As soon as you got a lead, you just started camping. What I don't get, though, is without a timer, what's incentivizing anyone to actually do anything in this match other than run away?

    • @Graslu00
      @Graslu00  6 месяцев назад +1

      I didn't camp, I controlled the big room. There's a difference between camping and map control.
      Without a timer the incentive is actually playing the game and winning the match, with a timer you would see a lot of people actually camping or running away to get the timer to run out eventually when there's a small lead. I think it's more exciting to see comebacks like the one I had in Caves after 8 deaths than see a timer run out.

    • @Ohrami
      @Ohrami 6 месяцев назад +2

      @@Graslu00 There is no incentive to do anything without a timer, though. You could sit back, order a pizza and coke, and lie down and snuggle one another rather than playing, even if your opponent is in the lead. There's a reason why there is literally not a single serious competitive FPS game that doesn't use a timer.
      Imagine you "controlled the big room" and your opponent just sat on the other side of the map for 47 hours. That would probably be his best option since you had a pretty notable positional advantage. That means optimal play makes the game insanely boring. It's bad.

    • @Graslu00
      @Graslu00  6 месяцев назад +2

      @@Ohrami But in realistic scenarios that'll never happen so you're just making up something that never happened...

    • @Ohrami
      @Ohrami 6 месяцев назад +2

      @@Graslu00 It didn't happen because I didn't enter the tournament. Put a $50,000 prize up top and I think you'll see the strategies be altered. It was a tournament played more like a casual match.

    • @Graslu00
      @Graslu00  6 месяцев назад +1

      @@OhramiWell then enter the tournament and show us how to play, but you won't because 3f delay is way too much... Standing still in a match won't get you a win, and someone pushing can kill the camper if done correctly. Having a timer like Quake duels would eventually end in games with 3-5 scores and 10 minutes of running away.
