It depends because purely alone i would say cucumber has less taste than tomato, but if you add just olive oil and salt cucumbers are better than tomatos. But then if you consider that you can eat tomatos with mozarella, they are by far better than any thing you would pair cucumbers with. But then you have to remember that hot tomatoes are a thing and that's a lot of minus points.
