Don't know if there will ever be an end to a series like this, but if there is you could make a vid where you compare and rank all of the previously tested money making methods for that level range. Not like I'm begging though... just a random idea i had.
This series will include a ranking list that gets updated with each new addition once there are more episodes and I am able to actually rank them all. I don't know if I will bother to break the rankings down by level range, but I will rank everything as I go :)
Now I wonder how much better this would be adding in champion's ability to scrap/sell stuff straight from their inventory with pets. Not to mention they can scrap un'ID'd stuff. That could save a bit of time running back and forth.
@@ChaosDragon Getting your pets up to a high level is easy. Just summon them on a high level class, and then go grind church of scrapyard for a few minutes. I got 3 of my pets up to max level doing that.
I would have tested that myself but my highest level shaman is not high enough to attempt this yet, let alone attempt it efficiently. I can only imagine how insane it would be.
I actually tested it. First of all: It's hard to maintain the 3 totems for me, like *really*. I always ran out of stamina, when I was going back to my first totem that was either gone, or only had a few secs left. Second: I got around 4 LE/hour without selling scraps to the trade market. With the selled scraps it would be 5,5 LE/hour, but I need to say that I had +62% loot bonus and +54% stealing, so it could be more if you have more loot bonus (and stealing as well). Edit: fixing some spelling and grammar mistakes
can confirm, with about 200% loot bonus and 40% stealing with a shamen w/ 3 totems, on a server with loot bomb and a totem, you make about 1.5 - 2 le within the totem lifespan just by selling the ingredients and picking up all the emeralds on the floor
@@ChaosDragon I would love to make it easier however I can, I've been pretty passionate about wynncraft for a handful of years and would be willing to do some research once I get a character up to 106
When using totems, only selling ingredients is better no matter what. When not using them going back to town to sell is about the same as staying, but if you scrap things and sell the scrap on the market going back to town is better.
if you're trying to optimize how much money you'd get from this method, you would be better off not exiting and instead just entirely focusing on ingredient selling, just like how Dragon did during his totem timelapse. That being said, if you're able to exit and reenter fast enough im sure it would be similar results, but it's just easier to not have to leave and return constantly
Through extensive testing I found that the time it takes to leave and sell/scrap is so minimal that it doesn't make much difference when selling, but if you are scrapping the loot you make more money by leaving to do so than you do by staying in the cave for a minute more. If you were to find a way to optimize a stealing build on shaman then you would be better staying in the cave at all times, but as I did not have the means to do that I didn't.
@@ChaosDragon scrapping might be worth it since it's 15 emeralds rn (high!). during totems (+ loot bombs) you're better off just selling the ingredients since they'll stack up fast and you wouldnt want any down time
@@loonitick Oh of course when a loot bomb is active its different, and even in the video during the testing of the totem I didn't bother saving anything to sell/scrap xD
@@ChaosDragon tbh if loot bonus is all that matters maybe you could viably run this in morph, seeing as with two morph-emeralds you're at 120% lb. You wouldn't get the stealing sadly, but at least the lb's very good and it's a cheaper setup.
@@evilsorosfundedgovernments433 you could run 7/8 morph and just replace the morph-amethyst with vindicator and run 2 emeralds instead of an emerald and a topaz. The morph set doesn't actually care if you use 2 different rings or 2 of the same ring, so you can do the one with loot bonus twice. Then the 7/8 set bonus on top of that and you can get around 100% lb in total(a bit over if you have a good roll on the emeralds and the vindicator).
Not very much comparatively, the enemies have a lot of health and can only drop a max of 5 emeralds each through stealing and without ingredient drops or frequent emerald drops they can't keep pace with weaker mobs in any way.
W vid. What if you titled the video "How Many Emeralds can get from Olux Slimes?" and completely ditched the part after it? I really dont mean to sound annoying I just got into that kinda stuff lately and also ill definitely be trying this method
This is an episode in a series so I put the series name in the title. Also having wynncraft and emerald in the title alongside the normal title helps rank the video higher in search, which is what a guide video generally targets. :)
Anyway, based on the comments this is better than stealing in flesh cave. So guess im going to go hunt down olux slimes (Cant watch the video rn cause in public but ill do it later)
As far as I know it does, and it would actually be a bit better now with the inventory changes. Now you can pick up emeralds with a full inventory so long as you have an emerald pouch. Additionally if you put 1 of each ingredient drop in your inventory then your ingredient pouch will pick them up with a full inventory too. These 2 changes allow you to focus 100% on killing mobs and you can ignore item drops entirely. Once your ingredient pouch is nearly full, just sell it and keep farming.
I mean the answer is "infinite" the better question is how fast can you make money Anyway im going to go grind lvl 1 weak Zombies now. Top money making method 100%
I have a different cave (I am mage on craftsman) just outside of thanos I use. I go in with my stealing high stealing crafted armour/ring etc etc. I then kill everything and the mobs you kill will also explode into many different mobs and they drop a 1starred ingredient that I use for crafting scrolls to then sell. Its like 10 le per hour because lots of stealing and I sell the normal items using my pets (I am champion) the good items I sell on tm... There is also a second place I use to farm out +5% xp 1star items (stolen goods) to then make lots of xp scrolls to sell on tm and its really easy. Yeah you need like 80+ crafting but its very good and the xp items you make end up between 25-30 xp and usually I get between 27-28 and I keep the 29 and 30 for personal use. You can sell the scrolls for some money😂😂😂
Seems like a really cool series!
I hope so :)

Selling to tm or blacksmith?
Cool! this method is seems great
I certainly enjoy doing it :)
Btw your eyes weren’t playing tricks on you when you were talking about the levels of the mobs. The level 6 magma cubes split into level 3 silverfish.
Little fuckers all died instantly so I never actually got to see them when the magma cubes died 😂😂
just started watching and I always thought that this could be an eme way method
let's see if it's viable
I've done this to make money on many occasions when I needed some quick cash :)

@larslo5673 yes, my roommate just loved making life hell for me shortly after I tried to start this series
Its been 1 year pls make a new one

To be fair the last one was just a quick ramble, while this one was mostly scripted :)

Do you think this money making method could work with mid-level (like lvl 70-75) ?
I originally found it at level 68 and it worked just fine :)
