Track finished: 15th April 1998
This is my 44th upload of around 150 songs. I upload songs every Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays. Make sure to subscribe to get updates of new releases.
I started out as a musician in 1996. Made around 150 songs in a program called FastTracker2 between 1997 and 2000. I was active in the tracking community and released songs regularly. Some synonyms I used during this period was "Cream" and "Pisces". Later on in the late 90s I changed my musician name to "Northtribe". My goal with this channel is to put out all my music I made during 1997-2000. Maybe even more songs from other DAWs after that.

Great song, the starting melody feels somehow very trippy.
Good Tune. FastTracker II, those were the days.
Thank you! Yes those were the days. I specially loved the community back then.
@@johnnorthtribe beeps of modem :) All the best to you.
Are you planning to release the .xm files at some point? Would love to have all your songs saved locally :)
I do not plan to do it in the near future. The first 15 songs I released here are on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music and I plan to put the rest there as well when I have the time. There are some places on the internet where you can find some of my FT2 tunes in XM-format if you want to download some. 😀

Wow, very good tecno, this program is used for this or you just used any DAW?
Thank you! This program is from the 90s and the music I made in it is from the 90s as well. But there is a modern clone called "FT2 clone". I am sure you could make music in it but any DAW should work. Today I use Reason Studios.
@@johnnorthtribe ah I see, ngl I like the aesthetic from the program, like it feels more analogue, what I most like from these programs from the 90's its the aesthetic that they have, like it's feels something more lifeful.
beautiful
Thank you!
WTF with those rhythmics? It makes me dizzy.
It is a basic 4/4 beat. What do you mean? This is also something I made in 1998.
