Just did these yesterday on my sante fe... wasn't as easy as you made it look to maneuver the new strut in by yourself and get the new nuts on the top of it... good video thanks..

I know this was several years ago, but do you remember if you had to get an alignment after replacing the struts?

I would recommend you have the alignment checked. Mine did not need one after I replaced them

Hi there , to replace strut with coil all ready assembled on by manufacture , we don't need to use compression grip tool , right , just replace entire part like in your video presentation .
I have Hyundai Tucson 2013 , broken spring coil front driver side , but I am thinking replace entire part with coil and strut at once . That compression tool for spring coil is required only if coil is replaced and inserted in a existing strut right?
Tank's a lot of you could response !

If you don't have access to the tool required to compress and install the springs, you can just purchase new ones with springs. Just a little more expensive.

Hi there, I have Hyundai Tucson 2013, my front driver side coil is broken, I am thinking to replace entire strut with a coil all ready assembled , in that case I don't require compression tool , right ?
Thank you for advice , all the best !

Sorry for the late reply. if you are going to purchase a strut with a coil already assembled no you will not need a compression tool.
