Sadly, the walls are to high. To many tent manufacturers make tents the worst colors. No privacy. This 1 has so much ventilation there is no protection
Yeah I thought that as well, but I’ve slept in snow storms and rain storms in this tent and have been completely fine. If you set up your tent properly it should work fine. I also have really good gear to pair with this ultralight option. You shouldn’t just be relying on your tent for protection from the elements you should also have good clothes and a great sleep system to pair with your tent.
I haven’t used to current version but I do have the older version! It is a little bit heavier, by a few ounces, but other than that it is a great tent.

how is the Osmo fabric when wet?
It works really well actually, and it doesn’t sag when wet as much as other fabrics!
