Here's a video on how to build a capsule wardrobe for Fall. How to build a capsule wardrobe videos always list the same pieces regardless of your style. That's wrong. Style is not a uniform. What if you’re someone who likes everything and your style changes constantly (depending on my mood ) .
Going to take a try at answering what I think Karen would say to you (based on what I've learned from her): The fact that you're willing to experiment, and try new styles is an advantage! The trick is to then 'evaluate' each look, when you've tried it out....measuring things like Karen's 'purge' principles (fit, function, fab factor) [I think I have those a bit wrong, but u get the idea]. This means looking at each look/style and asking yourself 'Is this fitting (and flattering) for my body type?' 'Is this a practical look for my lifestyle and the environment I work/hang out in?' and most importantly, 'Is this fabulous? Do I love it?..etc'. Soon, you will narrow your style spectrum down, but keep experimenting! And I also don't think there's anything wrong with changing looks with our moods, if you still like everything. (in fact, that may be your personal style twist, right there!)
My style also varies depending on my mood and occasion. I would say don't try to define one look. I just commented I am trying to move away from so much fast fashion like Zara and H&M for more investment purchases. When I do Zara or H&M I try to focus on their higher end items with natural or better fabrications and designs that can be worn for years to come. Most of all, have fun with it. I look foward to mixing hard with soft, minimal and so on.....

Amy Serrano said something that I like : experiment, observe what you are drawn to, and then sum it up in three umbrellas depending on your moods. Mine are : streetwear, edgy minimalist, and warm romantic 🥰
My style is just about all of the above. Depending on my mood......tomboy, feminine, earth mother/hippy, goth/artist, slob, eclectic, minimalist. No, not multiple personality, just many many moods. Love the video, great ideas.

as someone who loves and wears different aesthetics I know it can be complicated to know what to buy so I tend to buy items keeping in mind different capsule wardrobes and when I tend to wear certain aesthetics the most, like for example in spring I love a pastel color palette, cute knitwear, matching suits and sets, maxi feminine dresses; but in summer I keep wearing long cotton feminine dresses and matching sets (channel 90's kinda style ) for fall and winter I love the preppy old school vibe and something masculine and cool (think of YSL, Celine, Givenchy, Balenciaga style).
So when I keep in mind all of that is kind of easy to figure what to buy.

@@fruitygarlic3601 yes, normally basics and classic pieces; items that can be layered and are versatile weather and style wise for example t-shirts, blazers,trousers,some shoes and bags ( is just keeping in mind the textile/ material of what are they made so they are appropriate for the weather)

I love patterns and colors … romantic, retro, florals, geometric… most capsule wardrobes show plain, neutral colors … Chartreuse is my favorite color at the moment. I would color to see capsule wardrobe based on patterns or a non-neutral color.

I went crazy for knit midi dresses last Autumn and just got a couple more. They are my daily at-home and going out for errands wear (long socks for at home, boots and blazer for going out). I’m a dress gal, and these are the most comfy ever. I do like a defined waist, though, but a comfortable one.
Interestingly I already found quite some pieces after watching your inspirational vids that I love now... although we both have a bit different style. Even when you were filming in stores or on the streets I discovered stuff I was able to find later in another corner of the world. Well done. I will be coming back for more. Thank you 🍒

Here in the lovely ATL, where I grew up visiting family but staying very careful to keep wearing protective wear or stay the distance. Taking the time out to view this video. This is such a good tool to inspire the thought process for Fall stylings. You got me so obsess with thrifting men coats, blazers and suits (I really need to stop). I really like the teddy clutch but it bring up the cost in pounds (I think). Can anyone tell me how to change to dollars on the Mango site, please? I like the idea of putting a high neck top under my midi/maxi dress. Not going to be able to match the prints but this will be interesting to see what I can do with it. For right now enjoying visiting with the family and smelling the air, and taking in the sun. They have not seen me since I was in my late 40s (now 59). I use your styling vibe of packing. Wearing a great print men button up short sleeve shirt and a cream denim mini skirt and my tan leather Dr Martens. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
