- I am always asked this question in the comments section so let me know if you want me to continue with a behind the scenes capture of what I’ve worn to shoot New York street style. If so, I will create MORE behind the scene moments! These are casual outfits for summer I wear when out shooting what everyone is wearing in New york. It’s simple what to wear when you have nothing to wear looks and tackling how to dress when it’s hot. I hope this video helps answer your questions even just a little. I’m busy filming Episode 23 and hope to share looks soon that answer the question of how to find your personal style no matter who you are.

Finally!! The curiosity was killing me each time you received a compliment BUT - now that you have explained the reason behind your approach ie remaining somewhat anonymous and keeping it about the actual people in the street - it makes perfect sense - keep going onward and upward Karen , you’re so talented ( and adorable!)

Absolutely agree with you about the anonymity, Karen! People behave differently (most) when they are aware of you/what you do. Also, keeping the episodes about everyone else allows those viewing to appreciate the fashion and the people behind those garments more, I think. I love your work in general, but in this series, we don't need to see you literally to "see" you; who you are shines in the way you film, converse, and describe each episode. That being said, thanks for sharing what you're wearing this one time! You look amazing!

Seeing behind the scenes clips sometimes is fun, but your series is perfection.
I love the way the What is Everyone is Wearing videos are formatted. I love the music and the editing at the beginning. I think seeing your fashion might break that up and mess up the flow. Also: bonus content for true fans in this video.
that's one of the reasons I don't and yes perhaps a separate video alongside is a better idea

I started following you because of your series of "what everyone is wearing in NY" and it was because it is a different vlog, just as you said, it's about the people you get to know on the streets, it's about their style, their personalities shown through their outfits. So, yes!!! Please keep doing it as you have been, because NO ONE DOES IT LIKE YOU DO!!!!

I have enjoyed your What Everyone Is Wearing, especially bc I live in Southern California and our style here is very relaxed. So it's fun to see what people in NY are wearing. It’s best this way because you can’t tell it takes weeks to shoot. it feels like a single outing that makes it feel like a magical place, with the slow motion bits. Karen, I’m just in love with your content.

Actually I loved the mystery of not knowing what you are wearing. We know you got mad style. I agree with your reasoning and it should be about the random folks unique and beautiful styles. Perhaps you can do a behind the scenes recap like this. I think if you turn the camera around and show us your outfit we will get distracted and the random street style concept will be lost!
