Right? If they were simply just a montage of clips and backing music, only showing the clothes, they wouldn’t have half the appeal. It’s the conversations and stories behind the clothing choices as well as the personality of wearer that add so much depth... these videos are like mini documentaries. They capture so much more than fashion.
NYC is an ageless, gender jumping, ethnically diverse style attracter. Thanks for your keen eye on what makes this city a feast for the lovers of the unique.

I just love these videos so much , not only for the fashion insite but just the sociology , seing the interconnection between people , hearing everyone’s unique words and seing their smiles . I also just love how warm Karen is she seems to attract the kindest hearts who immediately warm to her , it’s a perfect illustration of how none of us are truly strangers . Beautiful words, and you are definitely right about people warming up to her, you can see it in their eyes, I'm sure no matter what type of day they have they go with a smile because a women on the street just shared their passion for fashion and appreciated their particular style, specially for the older ladies and gentleman, who are not generally appreciated in these modern days.

Karen. Netflix, Amazon or Apple should snap you up for this series alone! You should franchIse it in every city in the world starting with your home city. It’s phenomenal. The people have used ingenious ways of putting their outfits together & the stories behind them are charming. All this, together with the beautiful backdrop of New York City, makes for totally engrossing viewing. Just the tonic we need for these troubled COVID times!
Every time I watch I find out about a new designer I never heard of and immediately Google them. And I love how folks express themselves through style.

New Yorkers have such great and unique style. Like no one in the world. I was born in the city of New York but raised in Florida and not very fashionable here. I try to be fashionable here cause I’m a New Yorker by birth and everyone looks at me like I have two heads! Lol
My daughter lives in Brooklyn now and she has that style. I’m hoping one day you’ll stop her on the streets!

These videos give me life! I try to explain what/how the fashion is in New York to my family and they don't get but when I show them these videos they understand why I must live there! In Kentucky I get stares (not the good ones) but when I visit New York I'm right at home and no one thinks what I'm wearing is weird. Thank you for these videos!
